I recently got a grow ace 4x4 led, ebb and flow system. I got week old seedlings in rockwool in a germination box. My problem is, the info on setting up flood times, etc. is pretty vague. On the video they put fabric pots in the buckets, but sent me none and said I dont need them. Will this be ok, or will that clog pumps without them? Any info specific to this system, someone using the same setup.

If your gonna be running an ebb and flow setup then I would think you’d be better off running with hydrotron or the big rockwool cubes. Coco with ebb and flow doesnt sound very good in my opinion unless it was more perlite then coco. Check out hydrotron

I take my seedlings, (in rockwool), and move them to 4" square pots, supporting the rockwool in hydroton. Seems to work ok.
Hello I’m curious since I have the same system using coco perlite combo 70/30. Is this medium a no-no? Are you happy with your ebb and flow system?

How frequent do you water? This system when flowing will stay that way for 15 mins. So in other words I can water any number of times per day for 15 mins each.

1 time a day to start, then increase as needed slowly up to 5 times a day during bloom, and back down to 4 times last couple weeks. Make sure you have an aerator in the tank.

Just a good fish tank pump w several air stones, I’d buy a quiet one, I got a cheap one and its loud. If you run autoflowers, try green crack from fast buds, everyone brags on big yields, this one delivers like a dump truck. Makes a rookie feel like a pro, trust me on this one, you’ll be glad ya did!
I have a chiller which pumps chilled water back into the tank. Wouldn’t that serve the same purpose? Also, fast buds don’t deliver in the US. That’s unfortunate.
