Hello folks. Hope you’re all having a wonderful Sunday. Just wondering how early some of you sample your harvest. WWA’s passing day 30 of flower. I know I still have a month to go at least. But I’m am impatient as duck (hence why I have autos) just wondering if I snipped the smallest buds off and gave it some time to dry. Is there ever too early for testing? Take some pics when I get home of the little bud that caught my eye this morning.

@bruinsfan33 I feel your pain I do . And I’ve made small sample cuts from my plants with 4-1 weeks left just to try and find out how I want my bud to be. And in my opinion if I pull anything within 2weeks of harvest it isn’t even close in my book, and always taste green and harsh . But I’m looking for the HI right , gotta know when to harvest. So wha I’m saying is take your little bit to test soon enough you will know when to harvest and you will not want to take any early. We all go through it as growers.

That’s pretty solid advice! Leave her alone! Hahaha. It is best to resist! I didn’t sample my last grow till I cut her down and hung her for 10 days. Then I took one!

I know, I know lol the jar in the cupboard isn’t even empty. Just jumping the gun. Maybe it’s the Mai tai’s talking lol this is going to be a very long month !

@bruinsfan33 my GSCX plant vegged for 12 weeks, 70 day flower time , 6 days drying, and now 2 more weeks in jars.
Yes I feel your pain. the best way to avoid this problem is set up a perpetual grow system , and harvest every month or two.

Right now, strictly outdoor with the New England 4 seasons. Next year already planned. Have 4 different auto strains. Going to germ 3, 2 weeks apart.
