So I would still have to purchase a driver? Any other parts?

Yes you would need to purchase the driver. You can search to find the best price but the driver you would need is the HLG-240h-c2100a

Besides that the parts you would need would be:

A small roll of 18awg solid core wire
Some 1/8 inch aluminum angle for building the frame
A power cord for the driver(like an old computer cord or extension cord will work)
A pack of 2 port wago connectors
Some zip ties for wire management

And that should do it. I can get you links to all this stuff I listed as well. And if you can’t cut the aluminum yourself you can order it pre cut or I’m sure lowes or home depot will do it as well.

I can build it now that I know what parts. Thanks a ton. So I will use 1 of my holes and duct tape the other three and start with that to see how much space it takes up. If you could send links it would be appreciated to ensure I get the correct parts.

You are awesome. So the only thing I’m left with is intake and exhaust fans. I’m ordering my seeds and nutes Monday morning from ilgm. I can just add this to the list.

Get a new bucket lid also, you can get them on amazon pretty cheap, 6” net pot should do just fine on the 5 gallon lid, they are prebuilt

The lids look Ike these, without drip rings of course

Above on the comments, consensus seems to be don’t grow more than one in that space: I recently learned how quickly they fill up a tent… So wondering @PharmerBob how do you manage 5 plants and buckets in that space? Maybe I’ll be enlightened

I was wondering the same. I am growing 2 in a 1x2 with scrog in soil atm. I do see how hydro has exponential growth rate compared to soil but scrog is 1*1 per plant layout. The only hydro I’ve done prior was nft. My state just went med a year ago so I was a guerilla grow soil guy before. So is about res and root space and not canopy alone that would make 1 plant lst enough? Lst is amazing.

Thank you @PharmerBob. So yours pumps and feeds the top? Do you do that the whole grow or do you shut it off once roots reach the water in the res?

I was just showing you the lids, sorry I didn’t mean to confuse you with my own set up.

As far as the question go tho, I do keep the drip rings going the whole time. They keep the water moving and from becoming stagnant. I don’t think they are beneficial to the plant except for getting the roots to the water really.

How do I get 4 plant to grow in a 4x4 space? Very carefully  a lot of trimming unnecessary branches, a month in veg only and sometimes tying the branches up so they stay in place.

Also there’s only 4 plant sites and one bucket I use as a reservoir for refilling the system

Looks good, whatever your doing! How big was your tent?

That explains how you got 5 buckets w room. I can get 5 but it’s wall to wall

Yea Ike I said I want to show you the lids, but it wouldn’t be too bad of an idea to run one bucket to a reservoir so you don’t have to pul your plant out to add nutrients and water

this is the bucket I was given. I saw the 6" net pots lid on Amazon for $6 but there is no outlet on the bucket except for the water level tube @PharmerBob
