We’ll done Grow Bro and nothing to be concerned about on those lower leaf tips. Those being some of the first set, they’ll die off naturally. Appreciate the compliment Grow Bro ![]()
They’ll look droopy at first lights on or near lights off and after a heavy feeding. Looks like you need more light Grow Bro ![]()
I think 8-9 days of no water or nutrients is a little too long. What size pots are those? What kind of lights do you have? How much ppfd are you averaging? You may wanna drop the lights to 16” maybe. Give her a good water and feeding if needed. Your plant has been stretching throughout its life which means your lights not powerful enough and or close enough to canopy height.
Good day all,
Thanks for all the input:)
So last night I fed and watered the girls, Durban #1 seems a lot perkier today but still a little sag left but better, I definitely need better lights in the future and some other testing supplies.
My soil ph is around 6.2. Soil is moist, RH is around 45%, temp is hangin around 83-84.
My cloth pots I believe are 5 gallons but seem smaller.
Here she is today
A few more questions,
Why is there no seven point leaves?
I look at other pictures of Durban and this one seems different, the leaves seem wider and not long and narrow, is that normal?
Is a generally good practice to mist your plants daily with a water bottle?
In the last picture, would now be a good time to do some LST?
Thanks
@Clydester
Bad idea to mist leaves or plant. Especially with the light on. Sativas tend to be a little taller but to much space between nodes is a sign the plant needs more light.
I grew a bunch on durban years ago.
It was ![]()
Leaves look dark and waxy. Signs of nitrogen toxicity possibly.
So I took her out today and gave her flush to help with the nitrogen toxicity, hope I did the flush right. She seems to be budding nice and I hope she pulls back nicely.
She’s about 4 weeks into flower so maybe another 4 weeks to go.
Temp is around 83-85, RH is about 40-50% and ph is about 6.7.
I believe my 2 big mistakes are 1) using some cheap flower pot soil and 2) I need better lights.
My little girl #2 seems to be fairing better but still had the same nitrogen toxicity issue and soil, light problem. Learning as I grow.
We take what we learn and put it into our next grow. 1st hand experience is the best way.
She don’t seem to have that waxy look today but still has the 90 degree tips going down and a tad burn at the tips.
How long after a flush until you know it worked?
6 weeks into flowering now and she seems to have stopped growing , she has a few nice looking colas.
I read these autos are not done flowering until around day 85 ish, do the buds normally slow down or will there be another spurt of growth in the final weeks? Is there anything I can do now to help the yield?
The buds should work on fatten up now. And not get any taller at this point.
Several weeks left from looking at the pics Growmie ![]()
@PhatPat
Wow, thats crazy man. What nutrients was you using? Im assuming it was outside grow?
Let me clarify a little. I grew 4 autos and netted 1 lb 4 oz.
after i posted that i couldnt revise it. Indoor grow, just used fox farm trio. Thank you for the compliment. Appreciate it.
