I’d say about another week maybe 2

You have some white pistols, but those appear to be from foxtails. A good close up of the trichs would help. And are they 9 weeks from first bud sites or true flower?

Do you have a jeweler’s loupe or a usb microscope to get some pics of the trichomes deep in the buds. Can’t really tell without seeing the closeups. I agree with some foxtailing but also the amber pistils aren’t quite tight to the buds yet.

No, I have a crappy little magnifying glass, but as soon as I finish typing this I’m heading to Amazon. I love new gizmos!

They really help dial in the effect you’re looking for and the usb microscopes are just fun to play with :call_me_hand:t2:

Welcome @iamthefortytwo , great looking plants. Congrats! I think that you still have a lot of the white pistils and the trichomes are not visually close enough to see what stage they are. From what you can see, they still look mostly clear. You will need a loupe or a microscope lens on your camera to get a closer view. But with what it looks like from here, I would say go another week. But if you wanted to take it early for more of a head high, you wouldn’t be too far off. Good luck.

UPDATE: So I got a digital microscope in and was able to see exactly where we are. I’m so glad I consulted with you guys before I did anything stupid! Got a little bit of everything in there, but still a lot of clear.

Really nice pictures there! Always love a good gadget purchase. I’m going to double down on what I posted before, if you’re looking for more of a cerebral head high, you are almost right there. More balanced head/body high, maybe 4 days to a week. If you’re looking for a couch/hammock lock up, maybe 2 weeks. Great stuff, congrats.

Dude those are awesome looking flowers. I’d have no problems chopping it if time were an issue. But if you have the time and no other factors, you can hold off. Not all of the flowers will have the same trick progression though..

Thank you so much guys! I chose Durban poison because I love the energized and creative feeling it brings, so I don’t want to wait too long and have it end up heavy feeling. This is my second real grow and I am very proud of how they’ve turned out! I’ve learned so much this go around that I’m excited to start the next batch! I just gotta figure out what to do with all this flower now lol! Not a bad problem to have, I suppose!

It will keep just fine!

I love the microscope pics! Is that on a sugar leaf or deep on the bud? The leaves will look ready sooner than the bud. Great job for a 2nd grow!! :call_me_hand:t2:
