Drying temp and humidity with higher than ideal temps

Ive got a question for yall, im ready to harvest my super lemon haze and my storage room ive got set up to hang it in im maintaining whatever humidity i want from 40-55 but my temp is rather high, between 80 and 90. Is that going to be ok or no?

I’m gonna go with way too hot. Want to get as close to 60/60 as you can with good airflow :call_me_hand:t2:

Doesnt need to be 55° but certainly 80s is too hot. Do you have a basement? Cut and hang the entire plant so it can dry out slowly. Slow is the name of the game. Don’t remove anything but maybe some of the big fan leaves. Cut that stalk at the base and hang her upside down. Try and hold the humidity constant, thats very very important. FOUR key things: Dark, air flow but no fans blowing directly on plant, regimented humidity control, and consistent temperatures.

40% humidity is too low. I cut and hang whole plant ( mine are outdoors and much bigger) and stay around 55% humidity and 65° for 14 sometimes 16 days before bucking it up into totes to store and trim later.

I would definitely check them daily. You gotta do with what you got. We strive for 60/60. The low RH can be overcome with a damp rag. A small fan (not direct on buds) would help with temps a little.

You could make a redneck air-conditioner
Basically you take a cooler cut a hole for a fan then cut a hole for a vent then you simply secure the fan to the intake hole and use something like a piece of pvc as the vent inside the cooler you put as much ice as possible and turn the fan on itll cool a small area nicely if your room is too big use a cardboard box to dry in and pump the cold air into there i recomend frozen two liters or gallons of water over cubes their basically large blocks of ice in bottles that you can keep refreezing
I didn’t make this one but this us what it looks like

Smokesdaily, i do have a bait freezer in that storage room, i was considering emptying it out and just leaving the lid open. I think i may give that a shot and see what kinda numbers im getting on the temp humidity guage

With large piece of thick sturdy cardboard you could probably make a lid for it and still do the fan and air vent though you run the risk of blowing the compressor but that’s a potential issue either way
