It’s almost been a week since it’s been drying , I’ve never dried or cured before so I’m just wondering if it should be looking dry and crispy . And will it change once u put it into jars

9 to 10 days is a good number for drying with temperature around 68 to 70 degrees humidity around 50. After drying process finish trimming put into jars. You can also put a hydrometer in the jar to check the moisture content to see where you’re at . I like to shoot for about 62%. Once in jars and burp every day that is when the aroma really comes out. @Growstarter98 If you can put your crop to dry in a closet, you can continue growing. If it has like a soft cotton ball feel, it’s ready to cure in the mason jars.

If you over dry parts of it don’t worry. As it cures in the jars the moisture inside the buds will even out and rehydrate the dry parts. Looks good
If you grab a bud by the stem and snap it, there should still be a bit of moisture in the stem, it shouldnt brake clean off. Then the bud leaves should be leathery and the sun leaves crunchy. The bud will feel a tad squishy to the squeeze but not damp. If all of these feel right, jar it up, the burping allows the moisture left in the stems and inner bud to rehydrate the outer bud. After a month of burping every day for 15 minutes or so, the bud should be evenly moist. Now the cure begins, twice a week I burp my jars for 10 minutes or so for a month. After that, once a week for a month. Shes cured… smoke it with a friend! Gift some to another friend. Grow some more weed!
Hey there @Cannabian, if I read you right, then you have a routine for about a 3 month cure. So I get that correct?
Yes thats about right, the first few weeks is to get the water mostly out, then a couple weeks to stabilize tge stem/ bud moisture… it needs to even out some. Then the final stage is when the terpines say howdy and the chlorophyll says goodbye… after that you will notice a much nicer smoke!
