Drying alternative methods

Oh man…so I chopped my girl yesterday. I usually hang the entire plant to dry, but because of issues I’ll get into, I cut each branch off and hung to dry.

Now here’s my problem; I’ve accepted a job and need to move 200 miles. We have a photographer coming out Friday (six days after chop) to photograph the property for sale. Obviously I can’t have my “lady parts” :smirk: hanging in my basement at the time. I have nowhere to hide them as the entire property will be photographed.

I’m open to any other drying methods so I don’t have them hanging. Thank you all!

Put in closed paper bags for a day of sweating?

is there any reason you can’t just put them in a bag like bubbala said and hide them in the back 40 for a day?

And this is why I asked! Didn’t know this was an option. I can handle a paper bag for a day. Thank you!

I agree, put them in a brown paper bag before he comes and take them out when he leaves

Since you’re moving, any chance you’ll have a moving van there?

Warddrobe box. Thick cardboard and you can tape it up and not worry

I agree you can bag or even jar them for a short period of time. After 6 days of drying outer part of flowers should be pretty dry. Even if you put them in jars for an afternoon the moisture will just equalize, if you pulled them out after to dry up a little more they would be fine. Paper bag works as mentioned too.

Late read, sorry.
Renting a truck for a few days would work.
I did once, to give a plant away.
Two of us drug it out to the U-haul.
Sad days, some days.

Bag -“Sweating” would help the cure.
