Hey all. Just transplanted my DP’s a couple days ago and my leaves are getting pretty droopy. I thought maybe it was over watered so I took a couple days off watering but it’s still looking a little off here. I am using fox farms ocean forest with a bit of frog on the top. I did up my light intensity from 60% to 80% so not sure if that’s what’s going on or what. Any insight into this issue??? What can I do to help??? Also the ring around the plant is due to me just watering. It was basically dry after taking a few days off watering.
I wouldn’t be concerned about it.
I don’t see anything to worry about either. Drooping is normal.
I usually see a 3 day slowdown while she is moving in to her new home. Here is mine. This is her 4th home and she will finish in this monster 10 gallon. She was very droopy too. I little perkier the next morning. see pics.
Thank you for the replies. First grow here. Like the first kid, every little thing is something to worry about hahaha. Gotta remember to not overthink this whole thing. It is a weed after all and weeds will grow. Thank you all for calming a “new dad” down. You all rock!!!
welcome to growing. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. I completely understand about the worry. i still get worried over my plants but it is getting better. ive also just accepted that my plants wont always be the biggest, fatest, or greenest…looking geeat so far. i hope to see her come along
You can always place a dome over the plant which will help with transplant shock. Normally I don’t see any droop at transplant though it happens once in a while.
Normal
They will tread water and do nothing for 7 to 10 days
Maybe not enough water? Mine looked like this, they were much bigger and almost wilted. I watered the shit out of them, really deeply to where I got runoff the bottom. I also misted them til it ran off the leaves. Came back 4 or 5 hours later, and all the leaves were standing straight up. It’s tricky, I was worried about the same thing several times, just keep an eye on it.
I can tell by how you watered her that you have done your homework. Like others have said. This is normal. she is just a little shook up and will recover fine. I see big frosty buds in your future.
Hey I transplanted mine and accidentally ripped most of the roots off and replanted and it’s realy drooping and the top is leaning to the side is this normal
