Not unless its already in my fox farm trio. Now you got my interest peaking. Can you school me a little? Much appreciated
Ive grown in these conditions before andim sure there are more ideal conditions, but this is what i have to work with so if i need to learn things i can do to help my plants do better in these comditions, like beneficial bacteria? Im all ears
Products like hydrguard will help fight off root rot. Doesn’t mean your grow will be perfect with high solution temps, but it will help.
Hydroguard or Southern AG may help here, I run an autopot system which imo is dwc with dryback capabilities. I have seen a few actual dwc cultivators on YouTube and their roots were more eggshell colored than that corn color you have going on there (could just be the lighting and my eyes) but all it takes is a little bit of organic matter in a 70°+ pool of water to start growing some nasties that your roots hate.
My condolences should the pretty lady be unrecoverable.
Yessir, healthy roots should be bone white or eggshell unless stained by nutrient solution.
Secondary bad guys are almost always present in hydro set ups. Starting clean and staying clean is the way and the life ![]()
I’m with the Growmies, using Hydroguard or Southern AG can also be helpful. ![]()
She’s temperamental
I second the hydro guard I’ve saw water temps of 76 this summer when the central air whent out
Thoughts? Im looking fir a cheap temporary fix. Im thinking this gotta be easier than constantly changing out frozen bottles.
Someone posted this on another thread and I forgot to keep track of it
If you go about this make sure you @ me I’ve been thinking about one
So doing some research and this is what im considering diving into. The chiller, inline pump, and a few fittings i think i can make this run both buckets. I found this 1st pic somewhere showing this design and i liked it. Other 2 pics are the chiller and inline pump. I dont know but i feel like this would probably be adequate. What you think?
You don’t have a third bucket for a reservoir?
Maybe @Mntmannw has a recommended chiller set-up
@Thaplug ur right, someone was going to buy that $50 unit recently, just can’t remember who ![]()
I had the link to it but I don’t think it’s $50 anymore though
Bro I just put your screen name together Lmmfao!
Pretty much. But if you’re going to put a waterline in the buckets to run the chiller pump you may as well add the reservoir bucket outside the tent and use that to add take care of your nutrients, water level and chiller so you don’t really have to be in the tent
