Driver for qb288?

@dbrn32
I’ve been reading these boards and you are the led man lol
I have 4 qb288 3k and 2 4k for separate rooms 4x4 and 4x2. Hlg site has like 4 different drivers for connecting in series but idk which I need. I’m trying to connect all 4 to 1 driver but idk if i will have enough to get the light i need. I was trying to use just a regular 120v but didn’t know if I really need a 240 socket installed to be able to get the power for them that’s required. I could use 2 drivers for the 4 3k but I didn’t want to take up more sockets than needed lol. Can somebody please help me out. I just dont wanna order the wrong ones lol.

Are they version 2 boards?

I usually recommend the hlg-240h-c2100a for running 2 boards, and just using multiple drivers when it’s 4 or more. Lots of advantages to doing that. If you’re worried about power cord just use one of these.

If you absolutely want to run 4 288 boards from single driver, this is the cat you want.

Yes they are the v2 boards. I think I’ll just get 3 of those. The “a” ending in the driver means its dimmable correct? @dbrn32
Thank you so much!!!

What gauge wire would you recommend?

A has built in dimmer. Use like 18awg solid rated for 300v to wire boards. For a power cord running only 1 driver 16/3 will work.
