I will cover the air pots with something in the morning
I have had to water almost every day for some of them during this heat
That’s going to vary some genetically. For instance where I live we don’t have 12 hours of darkness until late September, and some faster flowering plants are about finished by then. When plants will flower will change based on where you’re at in the world too. Our friends down under are just about complete opposite of us. Places like Canary islands can naturally grow 2-3 crops per year outdoors.
Plants still happy and healthy. Supposed to cool off with a high of 74 and rain rain rain tomoro.
So gonna let Mother Nature water them tomorrow.
Temp has gone from 100 to 74 tomorrow Wth
Mantid!
Mantis!
And a very good friend to have indeed.
I had no idea they could be purchased as an egg pack that pops a couple hundred out.
Damn war on mosquitos and harmful critters
Time for an update. To me it looks like 3 of my outdoor ladies are transitioning to flower and starting to really stack growth/pistols.
This growth started about 2 weeks ago and is really experiencing growth.
I wasn’t sure since I have never had a plant go this far But to me they’re lookin pretty sporty
Which brings a question
The 3 that I think are in preflower. Should I transition nutes to flower??
I use GH trio and it has a transition mix before the flower mix
Is there anything else I should do at this stage that will help?? Besides water and feed
I did a little LST on some to open them up a little and the tall one was going over the fence (8.5ft fence ) so I tied her down some and she really liked it and got some new growth on the branches I tied down.
So here are pics. Let me know what y’all think
I’ve been wondering how y’all get these pics. Well now I know.
My wife’s sunflowers got to about 15 feet before they shot their wad. A personal best for her.
Had a nice rain today and my ladies looked absolutely amazing with their wet look.
Looks like 3are in preflower and all look happy
That video is pretty bad ass. Electric cars have come a long way
Update. 5 days since last one. My outdoor ladies to me are looking really happy and strong.
Since then I have up potted to 15 gals pots. They were in 7 gal and roots were wall to wall
Yes I know. Prolly shouldn’t do that in flower. The root balls all came out intact and put in the same promix media with Hormex B1 and root food. So I think shock is at a minimum.
3 are In flower/ preflower and the last 2 are showing pistols and sex. FEMALE !!!
I wasn’t expecting all 5 to be female so not bad for donated plants
What a difference in the plants tho. One short girl is really thick with growth on the inside. Can hardly see the stem. And buds are prolific.
Then the tall lanky girl I had to tie down or she would be over the fence. I didn’t think she would do much cuz she is so bare at the bottom but is budding up pretty well.
The tall ladies are all over 6 foot tall now and the 2 that are starting to preflower have a ton of bud sites.

And the others are starting to have a nice aroma.
Yeah man they are looking solid. The plant in the first pic could be a weed supermodel with those long legs lol
That’s a lot of Promix haha. You should be fine.
Looks great. they’re gonna fill in nicely.
Yes a lot of promix. But that’s what I’m using indoor and out so it makes it easier on me. It’s hard enough to mix diff nutes for these. Will be glad when all are using flower nutes
I just use a Lucas formula for most of my grow which makes things a bit easier. It modifies over time but with some thought you can work smart when watering.
Oh sweetie those girls are georgeous! Many thanks for bud porn!!
