Don't Wanna Lose This Time"

I did the same thing. @Bman8890

@Usmcjojo is correct she needs a grow nutrient.

Do you have any nutrients picked out? Are you going to procure locally or online?

@Bman8890 it all depends on you if you are concerned with health and what goes in your body than an organic line like nectar or gh makes an organic line. If size and yield is what you want then synthetic is what you need. Gh makes a good 3 part I also hear good things about advanced nutrients. It all depends on your budget and wants.

Local. And ill buy whatever yall recommend . just need a brand or type yall think would do good with mine based off size and age of her.

Sometimes depends on what you can find. Are you in the US? @Bman8890

What’s available varies by country. Hard for me to recommend.

See what the local folks have. Liquid nutrients usually come in a 3 bottle set. One for veg one for flower one for both. Get all three.

You will find something

If it puts you at ease any many of us grow less than legal so region is more about what nutrient lines we could recommend which are easiest for you to source. I live in British Columbia Canada not legal but home of Advanced Nutrients head office I can buy AN General Hydro, Canna, Green Planet, Technaflora, just to name a few

And this is why im on here. People like yall completely have a understanding that most people do not. Good factor. I appreciate everything. Im in the US. East coast

We have many members on the east coast so I am certain most of the brands I mentioned above may be attainable in your area top lines seem to be Fox Farms and Advanced nutrients or General Hydro. There are some general rules that make products easier to choose budget and discretion  there are also some rarely discussed and cheaper more discrete nutrients that do the trick if you aren’t aiming for perfection just a return, Plant prod for instance but very touchy in that they are products used when discrete was all that matters Amazon ships discrete so if it’s an option I would look into widely used lines above simply because members know them best and can offer most guidance with them
I personally use GH or AN jungle juice both 3 part lines plus a Cal-mag and Silcate supplement but do majority of my growing in soil/less Peat based mediums Pro-mix Sunshine #4 or hydroponics

@Bman8890 just google hydroponic shops near me in your google search. You will be astonished how many there are in the north east coast. Legalization is around the corner

So tonight i bought three led strips. One blue one red and one white. Im gonna run stripps with red on one side and blue on the other and white across top. I still have my orignal light set up also. So it wont be lacking because of the low wattage of the LED lights. I have chose to wire the white led strip to the same timer as the LED light bulb . so i have all lights going 18 hours a day but when the timer goes off the red and blue lights stay on for another 6 hrs with out regular white light . any suggestions @dbrn32

Personally, I think you’ll be best giving them some dark time. If it were me, I would run them all on the same light schedule at 18/6.

How long are the strips? Is it possible to string them in a way that each part of your plants receives about the same intensity from each light? I’m slightly concerned that having blue on once side vs red on the other will cause different characteristics from one side to other is all.

Problem solved. I hooked up it all tonight. I decided to op out of the white led light. I think ir will give out enough with just the bulb. Here is where i have started. @dbrn32 20171126_202221|666x500](upload://4C2i4BELl4f7Mn4R6R70i8wyNda.jpg)

Looks nice! If you can get the white in there it would help.

Think so? I feel like it would cancel out the other light a little bit. Its pretty bright.you would be surprise. @dbrn32 @bob31

How can i produce this ratio with my lights The optimum red-blue light ratio is 5:1.

No such thing as canceling light, unless you block it with something. The white light will make it appear different to your eyes, but the plants don’t really care what it looks like to you. All of the photons from the red and blue wavelengths will remain in addition to anything you add.

@dbrn32

freaking out now

That tells so little of the whole story that I would almost say it’s inaccurate. But I’ll leave it at partially accurate.

They’re trying to make a blanket statement about the effects of different wavelengths on plants. Green doesn’t contribute much to photosynthesis, that is true. But it does have other functions. But plants don’t need only blue to produce veg growth. And they will flower without it. I would suggest looking into reputable studies of plant light relationships.

Go look at @middlecoast grow and you can see how plants react to white light source.
