Man I woke up this morning thinking my dog left a steamer in the bathroom only to find out it’s the bud. I haven’t had this smell in years and I usually gauged it for fire bud(not grown just street buys). Does anyone else have a smell that they know is going to be some good bud or do smells not play a factor in anything?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen dog on the Terpenes list. Pine, fruit, fuel, pepper ect.
I think I’d be a little concerned if my weed smell like dog diarrhea
I had a plant that absolutely gagged me smelled like rotten feet while growing, more skunky after cured.
Turns out cannabis can have the exact same flavanoid that is in the bacteria of foot fungus
Flavanoids are what we smell and taste and cannabis seems to have a huge potential variation and sometimes the stinky ones come out load
I’ve no idea if it reflects good as in potency buy that plant was absolutely fire and the stinky ones do tend to be good so maybe
lol yes this is true about the terpene list it’s why I posted to here to see what you guys have smelled. People always thinks it’s weird when I describe it like that but f it, it’s my nose that’s what it smells like.
Gross lmao I never knew that, maybe it’s all of our interpretation of “skunk” because I’ve never smelled a skunk in my life. To be honest I wouldn’t mind if it stayed stinky like this, to me that’s good bud lol
I’m one of the weird ones that actually like a good wiff of skunk
Reminded me of this movie
That has to be me too bro, im glad someone shares the same sophisticated nostril as me
True skunk smell like from a skunk can be pleasantly nice till it’s to much
My old man once told me if u shoot a skunk right in the head it want stink but just die.
Had a bunch in my trash on the back porch so i open the window real sneaky and basically laid the barrel on its head and fired…
And yeah he was so wrong
That day absolutely ruined skunk smells for me, it flopped over, tensed up and every bit of stink it had came out.
I learned why the area had such a bad skunk problem, you can’t just shoot them and no one wants to trap and remove them
Damn man it’s almost like killing a boar quick to keep from a game taste so that makes sense. Seems like your neck of the woods would be perfect for a covert grow outside.
@1HappyPappy
Hahahaha, sucks the old man was wrong. I was digging the story
I trap them and gentle take them back to the lake, it’s a good bit back there. I know they can travel, home but there is so much goodness between there I’ve haven’t had one come back in 6 years
I want to make friends with one but hesitant since I have a outdoor shop cat.
Sound like my wife
I’ll be working on some crows soon
Where im at now isn’t, I’m in big city
But I grew up in the smoking mountains in Pittman center just outside of Gatlinburg TN back then.
So yeah, definitely the sticks and i miss it
LMFAO, she wants to do the same thing after seeing videos of them giving presents to their owners. One lady has a bird that only brings her money she had a huge drawer of it.
I’ve shot a few in my life. I try to hit spinel cord. Sometimes I miss it. When it hits just right no smell because it paralizes it. When missed look out and.get upwind. Doesn’t stop me from shooting though. Doesn’t smell any worse than when they put the liquid anhydrous ammonia cow shit mix on for the corn.
You probably missed the brain its pretty small.
There it is I was waiting
I was gonna say your old man lied to you every one I had to shoot because they’d get stuck in my fire pit ring sprayed upon impact.
I’ve never smelled any flower like dog turds but I’ve got an OG Kush that smells like a earthy gassy dead animal………super strange, initially it’s smells bad but I find myself keep going back to try and figure it out
I have a buddy down the road that rescues ravens. They are cool and all but have to be vigilant they are expert thieves. Anything they know to be a valued item is a prime target. They are always trying to steal lighters. I got an entire afternoon of entertainment once watching another friend try to get his cigarettes back from the ravens. They were obviously smarter than he was.
@Bigcbud I had a Trainwreck a few year back that had strong poo smell as soon as I cut it. At first I thought it was environmental but RH was good and none of the other plants in the same environment had a whiff of poo. By the time it cured for a month or two it turned into a slightly rotten earthy smell. It tasted fantastic though.
