Does this look close to harvest?

I dont have a pic of entire plant as I am away from home tonight. I will post one tomorrow. But I do have pics of the trichomes and to me they look close but this is my first grow and I could be dead wrong. I am looking for highest thc and I have saw charts or pics that say amber. I can’t really tell!!! Thank you for any input

That last pic was the most useful for me. It’s looking nearly 100% cloudy with a touch of amber. Definitely looks very close. A pic of the whole
Plant would tel more of the story but just based on this I would say yeah it’s ready.

Depending on the strain and what you want you might wanna go for more amber if you want it a little sleepier and mellow. Double edge sword tho - I let some G13 recently go til it was like 40% amber and that’s real body stone couch lock kinda strain to begin with so at 40% amber it was just like straight up take a nap kinda weed. Future harvests I chopped more like where you’re at now and had somethjng i could smoke while fishing without nodding off

Awesome! Thank you for your expertise! I truly appreciate it. I guess I mis spoke about amber. I will post full plant pic tomorrow. What else should I be looking for full plant wise other than the close up pics?

Agreed, you are near or at highest THC stage.

Kinda hard to put into words but I like the plant to look “tired” and maybe a little raggedy. In my mind if a plant is green and vibrant, it is still growing (putting on weight) and maturing.
Mainly, I look for most/all the pistils to be shriveled and brown/orange before checking trichomes.
Foxtails late in flower can be due to over-ripening or too much light. That is another thing to watch for.
On the negative end, watch for dead spots, wet looking brown spots, wilting sugar leaves, anything “fuzzy” or web-like, and any sign of male flowers like ball sacs or nanners.

Close up of nanners. Will be lighter in color than the bud and has no pistil.

This is ‘suspected’ male sac. See it has tiny stem and also no pistil.

here is a good chart that floats around on here when folks have questions regarding the when to chop. @HMGRWN nailed it for high THC. 20% Amber is what I shoot for so you get the best of both high THC and a bit of indacouch
When to Harvest

Looks good to me! If anything go another week to get some more amber. You could withold nutes for the next week, only giving ph’d water, she will turn all kinds of colors using the nutes stored in her leaves.
