Does anybody use their waterproof floor as their water reservoir? Like when watering plants and water starts to flow from the bottom… do y’all let it drain into the tent or do you take your plants out and put them in the bath tub or something and let them drain a lil then return them to the tent?

I put a couple shop towels around the bottom of my grow bags,sop it up and squeeze out into a bucket, and dispose of it.Moving 12 plants in a SCROG isn’t an option.

Really I wasn’t even letting water come out the bottom I was just putting like a cup of water I’m them eat and going bout my day… I read it’s best if you water till it runs out the bottom thou

Plus I was thinking bout adding more plants so that whole water reservoir thing has to go and I need a quick water absorbent towel or something so mold and everything else don’t grow

Plants should be elevated so airflow can get underneath them. And when they’re elevated there’s room to put a catch basin underneath for your runoff.

Well this is a small area there’s no room for a catch basin…
I just let the excess run out of the bags and the towels soak it up.

Letting your tent get wet might lead to mold. I have totes underneath the plants to catch the drainage and suck it out with a wet vacuum. I put the buckets on bricks so that the roots are never standing in water.
