Do you plant directly in the ground

Does anyone still plant directly in the ground? How do you amend your soil? I just use a 40lb bag of cow manure compost per plant mixed in the soil! Then feed with fox farm cultivation nation. Just wondering how others do it!

Yes several ways my best is sheep manure compost and all-purpose soil mixed with original dirt. -whatever I dug out I mean maybe yo call it native soil I dunno

Nope not naive…i do the same, hudband digs a 5 foot hole we get amendment soil, add in worm casing, manure, add some soil back in, m8x well, put back into hole, water for few days, then transplant the girls, then start the fox farms nutes…
