Day 30 of outdoor blueberry auto grow here. One of my plants is seeing some holes in a leaf and I’m seeing some web structures around the main cola… any ideas what this maybe and how to get rid of it?
Yep you’ve got some webbing, the circled red in the pic is concerning as well. @Oldguy @Caligurl have a wealth of outdoor growing experience and knowledge
Thanks @OGIncognito…@Oldguy @Caligurl any ideas what this is and how to get rid of it?
@drgrower Some type of spider possibly with the webbing / fuzzy’s going on.
Could be caterpillars too but they’ll take chunks from edges usually.
A BTK product would work for pillars.
Check them after dark with a uv flashlight if you can. The bugs will show more easily.
Let us know how you make out.
Thanks @Oldguy… looking closer I see some little black dots around the webbing. I’ll try an get my hands on a UV light and come back with more.
Could it be spider mites? @Oldguy
Not likely from what I can see in ur pics.
I’m not seeing the typical spider mite markings on the leaves.
This is from spider mites. They’re super tiny and most times require magnification to see them.
Usually on the underside of a leaf.
Those little black dots are likely the poop from whatever is munching on ur plant.
Had slugs doing what that looks on the leaf and it was poop but no webbing.
Is that webbing or mold! Can you get a really close up pic?
Hey @Caligurl…. Deff webbing. I believe I found the culprit this morning. Super tiny green little catipiller looking guy. If the webbing comes back I’ll get a better pic!
Interesting… caterpillars don’t make webbing. They may make a cocoon of sorts
A lot of the leaf roller caterpillars spin webs as they roll up the leaf. They will also hang from silk threads meters long trying to get down to fresh soft leaves from high in tree canopies. They like all deciduous trees but love oak, fruit trees, and cottonwoods a lot.
They usually skip cannabis but I have seen it on them myself from time to time.
Yeah, we get leaf rollers on out apple trees! Hate them buggers LOL
You got any better pics as all i see is the fuzz from those puff ball weeds.
