They should do fine. Feed them well, give them a shot of calmag now and again, and monitor the Ph & PPMs, and they should thrive. Somewhere along the way, around 3 or 4 more weeks you may need to flush them. It is why it is in FF schedules.
You can check @Work4iT thread. He grew four autos in a 2x2.
But I think 1 photo would do really well in a 2x2 space.
My scrog frames are about 2x2.
