Also I am wanting to keep 2 mothers so I need to figure out my space options. I have a closet left for them and have been looking into the bonsai method for keeping mother plants
With such limited space it would be nice to know what I’m growing every time. Just buying top quality genetics and popping seeds every time does t seem realistic for getting the quality I want every time. What are your thoughts on this @BigCat420 ?
Did you top those ?
@matty777 i vegged my clones for about a month and then went straight to flower no training or topping and using a dual net method to keep everything in line and even. I start my ladies in a 5x5 then flower in a 4x8 and then dry in a 4x4. I typically veg for 2 months before flipping to flower because i start my new seeds as one batch goes to flower and then the veg tent opens up again. If you do a full 8 week veg with less plants i can see you getting max of 2 full grown plants in the 5x5 but it would be tight. If you do a SOG then you can have a faster turnaround rate with more plants but then its a pain in the ass to get down and water everything. From my 17 plants in the SOG i got about 1 1/2 lbs so it just depends on what you end goal is more weight or higher quality green? The SOG was fun but very overwhelming and i felt like i can deal with a few plants and get better quality from them as opposed to multiple plants but im still learning and im sure once i dial things in and try it again it might be a different story
This is my 5x5 in my last grow cycle. I gave dwc a try in 5 gallon buckets, decided to stay with coco. However, I felt like I could pack atleast one or two more plants in there with the extra space. Maybe that was only the case with the hydro though, idk. I think I’m gonna see how 6 goes in 3 gallon pots witb a 6-7 week veg.
These had a 8 week veg
My next 2 to flip are in 5 gallon pots and have been vegging for just about 2 month. I hope to get similar from the ones im working on. Nice work btw. Bravo you grow. ![]()
Yeah I harvested over 2lb from 6 plants. 4 hydro in the 5x5 and 2 soils in my 2x4
