Diagnosis for first time grower please!

First time grower. Growing an auto. My leaves have started to get brown spots. I believe I may be having nute lock out or a deficiency as a result. I’m putting my nutes and water in at around 6.8 because my runoff has been around 5.2-5.5. Growing in ffof soil. I’m wondering if I should flush or just increase my ph of my nutes and water. I’ve also had some fungus gnats but they’re pretty well controlled I used water mixed with peroxide x 2 and only see a few fungusgnats here and there. What do you guys think? I’m on week 6 and just started flowering and had slowly increased nutes with some cal-mag

-Age of plant
-Method: Soil w/salt, Organic soil, Hydroponics, Aquaponics, KNF
-Vessels: Type and capacity of container (fabric, plastic, etc)
-PH and TDS of Water, Solution, runoff (if Applicable)
-PPM/TDS or EC of nutrient solution if applicable

-Distance of liquid below net pot (DWC)
-Temperature of reservoir
-TDS of nutrient solution
-Amount of air to solution

I believe its a calcium def do you have any cal/mag if so give ur plant some cal/mag in the next feeding

A pic with the blurple off would give a better pic as well as the support ticket :love_you_gesture:

Fill out the Support Ticket and put up a picture in white light? Kind of hard to help if you don’t know anything about your grow, especially under the blurple.

What strain, Seed bank, or bag seed (photo or auto)-fast buds orange sherbet auto
-Age of plant-starting 7 weeks tomorrow
-Method: Growing in ffof soil
-Vessels: 5 gallon plastic pot
-PH and TDS of Water, Solution, runoff-using fox farm nutes every other watering. ph around 6.8-7 going in and coming out anywhere from 5.2-5.5- adding cal/mag with nutes as well. I’m afraid it’s calcium deficiency from low ph at bottom of soil getting locked out. Had this problem of low ph runoff ever since I started the grow from day one and it has not corrected. Even flushed once and got run off up to 5.6. Watering/feeding every 2-3 days. Had fungus gnats (not bad) I used peroxide and water mix x2 and they seem to be taken care of for the most part.
-PPM/TDS-ppm with nutes is around 1100. I use soft tap water ppm of that is 22
-Method used to measure PH and TDS-cheap ph meter which i have calibrated multiple times
-Indoor or Outdoor if indoor, size of grow space-indoor grow in a 3x3 tent
-Light system List brand and wattage/spectrum-viparspectra VA1200 w. 250w coming out of the wall
-Actual wattage draw of lights
-Current Light Schedule-18/6
-Temps; Day-75-80. Night 69-73
-Humidity; Day-40-50%Night40-50%
-Ventilation system; Yes-inline fan 4inch
-using humidifier as needed,
-Co2; No

FFOF has been a problem with low PH and many growers here have reported same. I would suggest riding that out without trying to adjust up.

A runoff test to determine the salt load in your media would be helpful but I don’t see anything other than a touch of excess N: you could start to reduce your supplement that is high in N as it appears media has enough. Especially once entering flower.

Cal mag isn’t really useful in soil FYI unless a big deficiency is seen and yours does not.

This will be inadequate to fully flower out a 3 X 3 tent: two plants at most.

Please elaborate on why cal/mag isn’t useful in soil!

It’s already present. Assuming cannabis optimized soil like FF or Roots Organic etc.

Depending on the amount of media it might be necessary once soil is depleted.

I’d have to agree

The runoff test would tell alot. If your feeding at 1100 ppm and your runoff is like 400 to 500 higher i would call that lockout. Seems high for autos but i dont run those. Only read they need less.

I haven’t tested ppm on my runoff but it’s an interesting thought I will do this

Thats why the runnoff is important. You wanna know what each lady is eating. I log each of mine regardless. Def more work but i got ocd with that type of stuff lol.

For a first time grower I find myself being very ocd and that’s just in my nature. I appreciate the input!

Just the opposite, lower PPMS coming out than going in shows the plant is taking in the nutrients. Higher out would be a mineral/salt build up preventing uptake (locked out in the root zone) :love_you_gesture:
