@Bentley any of those soils are fine. I use fox farms ocean forest for the final transplant. Sounds like you’re getting it all dialed in know mostly what you’re doing. I would start my seeds in a seed starter soil happy frog will aork i have started mine in ffof as well
But as stated by the others all your soils will work
As far as your lights go im with @dbrn32 on more info is needed before we can help you decide where to start your lights
You stated they are high end led light fixtures which is good can you please post model number and mfg info
So we can see what your working with @Donaldj made a good suggestion as well on posting a few pictures
