Dennis 62 simple grow #10

You know the old saying…Rather be lucky that Good. :grinning:

I am “watching” simple grow #10 with interest now, Brother.

I got so many Self Inflicted Rookie Grow Errors going on, I have to start off with Happy Frog to stack the deck somewhat in my favor.

Before I started growing or attempting to Grow weed, I only killed cactus, so a Green thumb I don’t have.

Did you get the colors out of the buds in your plants you were hoping for when your heater quit working during that cold snap? I think that was your thread?

I am getting close to the finish line on a couple of autos I got growing Zkittle and Wedding cake.

Nice girls my friend, going to have some good bud in a few weeks. Awesome work for no green thumb  @Work4iT and yes temps made a great big difference in color on that lemon berry, lows were in high 40s at night, what a beautiful plant that was, lots or reds and purple. I love the high on that one too. She was pretty temperamental but well worth it. I got good hope for my new 11 roses it the first 100% indica, I had to wire around her trunk today, her helicopter leafs are too heavy lol, fan was blowing her over. Her trunk will stiffen in a few days. And Gorilla glue is thick trunked with wide short leaf. One sativa, one indica. All good here at day 5

Candidates are looking Good from my Desert view Brother. From your previous posts I know you are another low Humidity Grower. Do you have any Humidifiers running in your home? Just curious to your established norms.

@Work4iT No man no environmental manipulation here, no ventilation, no humidity control. My closet is 8 foot long and my clothes take up half the closet so with all that cloth humidity can’t build. When watering my % rises right around the plants. When the plants get bigger and each plant is processing 1/2 gallon of water every two days my humidity levels off around 50%. VDP is pretty stable and not far off. But yeah lights and a fan, plastic pots, miracle grow potting mix for three years, no norms here. Harvest is fun too, drying in 30% humidity only last 2 days and some extra hours laying buds out on dining room table, then into jars. Nothing is like this desert air. I don’t have the ability to alter anything in my apartment, no where to hide extra equipment, so I have to keep it simple. I live next to some very nosey neighbors so I have to be very sneaky with soil and anything! But it’s all good man

Are you in a legal State? I still hear you about being incognito and keeping the neighbors clueless. This shit costs $$$ and you never want to be too out there.

I have a neighbor that likes to sit out on the porch, and I darn sure want to make sure I don’t let the smell go beyond my little slice of Hood-Heaven.

Got to be street smart and tight lipped about Growing this shxt.

I don’t want a victim of a attempted smash and Grab if you get my drift.

Ha ha brother no I live in a legal state but I’m not worried about the law, but I live in a old folks home lol and dry desert air keeps smells from sticking to my clothes, but when I have two or three plants in full flower it puts me on full attention to who come in my house lol. During veg cycle smell is no problem. I know I’m nose blind to the smell, so I have family and friends come visit and they let me know ha ha. Seriously though this is simple and I use same technique I’ve used eight grows, have changed very little. I read burgmans bible and was buying seeds from a different site and bought the fertilizers that site recommend, and I bought cheap mars hydro burples and bam it’s been awesome since. It is really cool here I have a small grow circle of friends and family. And just learned of the forum little over a year ago, my first was, right or wrong #7 , then started simple grow 8&9. I do kinda gotta hold my tongue here because I am not in the norm, but I just do my thing and let results speak for themselves. Not saying I am all that, like I said I have been very lucky lol. It keeps getting better with knowledge picked up here, and better genetics, better lights wooooh… All I know is I don’t change anything, because it works. I do have Cal mag issue, and in late flower the peat breaks down and causes pH issues sometimes, but most issues are in late flower and not really a big deal. I’m having a problem right now with a bag of dry mg, if it dries out it becomes hydrophobic and it doesn’t absorb water like it should so watering 11 roses takes patients, watering slowly till soaks in… sorry for rambling lol

Ha ha this is my covert closet, why it’s a simple grow, can’t do anything to alter, and if need be I unplug my timer and throw it in closet and close the door, and no one knows…

oh and check out gorilla glue, she has two sets of single fingered leafs, no three finger. Looks like new leafs are normal.

looks like a lot of light leaks for a photo.

Yes it does have its challenges, bedroom has black out curtains and no lights in bedroom during flower. But I find male flowers most times before damage lol…

Okay I’m going to lay out the plan for this grow. Of course the plants dictate final course of action, but I plan on topping my plants once, no other manipulations. I hope to get 7 or 8 sets of branches on the auto gorilla glue before she shows signs of flowering before I top her, but will see. Most of my autos usually start to flower 4 weeks on, some 3 some 5 lol. But unless it happens really early I will top most likely. My photo 11 roses will top at 8 to 10 nodes, giving me 16 to 20 branches. Then veg couple weeks and flip around 7 to 8 weeks or when she is 18 inches tall. 18 and 18 is 36 inches the most I can allow, if she doubles ugh, but most do fine. I plan on two flat topped bushes full of leaf and bud sites to fill out… I do not defoliate, well very little, until each plant is 2 to 3 weeks into flower, then selection of leafs here and there to open up the canopy. Otherwise I leave them alone. But the plants will do their best to mess up my plans I’m totally sure ha ha. So from now till 3 weeks or so kinda boring, I will continue feeding them speedy veg which also has cal mag and the miracle grow potting mix will feed npk. Around week 4 I will start feeding with flower power organic nutes as it also has mycorrizha etc but at a low dosage to see how each plant takes extra nutes, then up dosages till I get a little tip nute burn. Then water, feed, water till flower. But till all that I add speedy veg to every watering. There you go, expected yield around half a pound give or take. I hope for a couple 3 ounces from auto, maybe 5 from photo, but this could go to shit also lol. This is all new to me this grow, using HLG 100 v2 4k boards from seed thru veg cycle, HLG 100 v2 3k boards in flower. I’m really excited to see what happens, but for now watchin them

Everyone is happy  keeping light at 20 inches, I like node spacing and growth rate pretty good. Ten days and they are both almost as wide as the one foot pot, so all good

Well tomorrow is two weeks, I’m completely happy with the girls progress, they are as wide as the pots so watering the whole top and not the whole pot in depth, couple more waterings and then water to run off. Gorilla glue has some light splotches on most of her leafs, but appears to be a variation so genetics. Here’s pics closet, gorilla, the 11 roses.
