<Deficiency or Burn Out?> 2nd grow - first time outdoors

Hello all – this is my second grow. First time outdoors. I germinated seeds on May 9th (I have 4 plants, two Skittlz, one Girl Scout Cookie, and one The Bomb). The grow has been going very well up until this last week. I noticed the lower leafs on one plant was developing brown spots and is now starting to curl. This is now happening on 3 of the 4 plants (all but The Bomb).

I am in the PNW and it has been VERY hot the past several days so initially I thought it could potentially be not enough water so I have kept a closer eye on that, but I think it is more likely to be either (A) Nutrient Burn (B) Phosphorous Deficiency or (C) Potassium Deficiency.

When watering I currently utilize Root Farm Base Part I and Veggie Part II and balance the PH level.

I have attached some pictures - it would be great to get any advice on what may be going wrong and how to rectify it. Obviously, the action take for option (A) is drastically different than (B) and (C).

• Soil was made with a mix of Cocoa Coir, Perlite, Root Farm Soil, and Soil with Mycorrhizal.
• 50% of mix is Cocoa Coir and Perlite and 50% is the more traditional Soil

Most of those dead leave appear to be leaves on the bottom of the plant. That is totally normal.

The last photo looks like leaf damage mid plant, but even that I wouldn’t be concerned about unless it effected several leaves.

I hate to break it to you, but your plants are already in their second week of flowering. That could be why the plants sacrificed some lower leaves. You should start the bloom nutrients.

The one thing I see that stands out is your ph. Since you have mostly soil you need to be ph-ing (make sure you have a good digital meter) between 6.3-6.8. 6.0 is low and could be causing lockout of nutrients

You are absolutely correct – The two I grew indoors last season got quite a bit bigger before flowering and I did not have optimal conditions. I’m a bit surprised they are flowering already – is that just built in to the auto-flowers - after X amount of weeks the flowering will be triggered or is it impacted a bit by light and nutrients?

Some of the leaves that are wilting are mid plant. I think @AfgVet is right though – my PH has been a bit low. I think the soil has had a lot of nutrients in the short term, but I need to raise the PH to help my girls out.

Also, it looks like it could be damage from the leaves getting wet in the full sun… be careful when watering not to get the leaves wet unless the sun is about to go down…

And yes, auto flowers will flower whenever they dry well please LOL
