Watching amber trichomes is stage one. Retracted and shriveled pistils is second sign, Stage ready for harvest. I read somewhere. I start hanging early test, taste, and prepare for harvest-hanging routines. I ask questions, read more, and experiment. Never too much, just takes longer to get straight. Cant answer for significance. Learning and practicing harvest/wash/hang routines. Then comes storage and what to do to improve smoke. Kief mining next.
