Again I don’t know much about lights . I simply bought one of the most expensive lights I could find that fit in a 4x4 and it works perfect I use the manufacturers suggested height and power percentage and I’ve never ever had a problem with my lights.

I do know that it would appear to me you’re too close and too low of percentage on your lights. Let me tag somebody who can help you with that possibly @OGIncognito

Will also add A little fyi, holes in bottom of buckets? and raise them up off drip trays they need air under there, and a place for drainage.

Its not sitting in the tray its like a self watering bucket. Its hard to explain it but the buckets are screwed in place so theres about 3 inches of air between soil and water at the very bottom…i water through the tube that is about an inch from the water to create air bubbles when watered so the roots reach for the water in the bottom. When its full t pours out the bottom hole. In the bottom of the top buckets is a quart sized cup with so many holes it barely held soil and that sits like 1/2 inch in the soil. If that made any sense. I made it myself lol.

This is the concept behind it. Just self made version. Lol

Appreciate the tag Grow Sis, @Niikkii00 I would recommend a light meter or a less expensive method is the phone app called PHOTONE. I have several different lights and rather than follow the recommended settings I use DLI or you can use PPFD. The three different growth stages require different levels of intensity and with the app or a meter you can dial this in to optimum intensity :love_you_gesture:

Okk cool. Thank you! I downloaded the app and also got the meter @Lostgirl recommended. It should be here today!

@Niikkii00 I am so glad you ordered that. You’ve done so well to this point. That meter was the best $23 you ever spent on growing. Hopefully you got the ph up and PH down you can buy the small bottles they last forever and they’re incredibly cheap. You’ll definitely need it. Especially if you think your pH is on the high side in your soil now

Just want to put a bug in your ear. You mentioned you accidentally ordered a photo. And you’re growing it in the same closet as your auto flowers.

I don’t grow photos I know nothing about photos. However, I just wanted to make sure that you understand about light leaks and things of that nature when growing photos. Total darkness during the off light time should truly be total darkness.

Nonetheless, you should investigate all the aspects of growing both autoflowers and photo. The more you learn the better you you are.

As a new grower I also suggest that you start a journal and ask people to follow it on this form. This will get you all the information on one thread. You’ll catch many mistakes and always have something to come back to and rely on for information.

Always be as descriptive as possible with your grow and your questions. You get truer answers that way.

@Lostgirl yeah im sure its gonna show some this round because i didnt realize it and wont be doing it again as i have more seeds still. This was my experimental round. Once it gets nice im goin to have some outside as well. After i get the soil stuff down im goin to try hydro. I just want an all around experience and figure what i like best.

Thanks for pointing it out. I am just closing the closet and lights are off at 1am so its no light in my room anyway but still. I get it. Honestly next time ill probably get a tent because why not?? Lol

This stuff can get overwhelming. Baby steps is what I say. Don’t take on too much at one time. You’re still in the early learning stage. When in doubt always ask. As I said before guess work don’t cut it with this hobby

I’m glad everything’s working out for you @Niikkii00

I strongly suggest you keep a daily journal. I print out a calendar every time I water/feed I measure the pH, PPM, and the EC both going in and out and I write it on the calendar like this

Intake
EC 800
PH 6.5
PPM 1600

Run Off
EC 500
PH 6.6
PPM 1000

This becomes a Bible of your grow. It will help you with future grows and help others assist you when they ask you your number if there’s ever an issue.

I’m not familiar with your Fox farm nutrients however, as I stated to you before won’t you test your runoff and the runoff PPM reaches 900 you can start to feed your plant.

Whatever fox farm tells you when their feed chart to feed your plant reduce it to 1/4 of what they tell you to feed it. Continue to feed it 1/4 until you see an issue with your plans.

From your recent pictures you don’t look deficient in any way nonetheless, I would use very low doses of calcium magnesium every other water. Before you mix any nutrients when you put your water in your bucket to mix I would add 125EC or 62ppm of the Calmag

This will get you going on the right path. Good luck to you if you need assistance just ask
