Yes
Yes you shall be fine
Per the feed chart: “For soil, soilless and all other mediums use CX Hydro Base A&B.”
@Deadhead @DaveySprocket @Lightbrightt2010 yeah I ended up reading my little card after I posted my question LOL thank you all but I am also wondering about the feed, if it says one to three milligrams I guess that’s my discretion on how much to give right? I have a fat bastard who takes everything I give I mean I’m Max the fox form feeding chart out and still no tip burn so I’m wondering what’s the most anybody has gave their plans of these nutrients? Did anybody go over the charts??
I’ve used the maximum several times with no tip burn but not over
Im currently giving 6 mils per gallon and no issues, so I think your discretion at what the plants eat.
It’s 1-3 milliliters (ml), but yeah, your discretion.
IMO, it’s best to begin feeding on the low side (even if you’re intimately familiar with the nutrient recipe), assess the response, and adjust concentration and feeding frequency accordingly. Just don’t make the common but false assumprion that more is automatically better.
Yeah I started with the 3mla til they kicked into gear than I up a mil weekly and now at 6
@Lightbrightt2010 so you give the same amount of a and b together?
Yeah I do
@Lightbrightt2010 you give A and B for vegin plants also?
Yeah that’s when I was doing the 3 mil
@Lightbrightt2010 oh I see so doing veg you were giving 3 ml of A and B. So it’s not like my fox form where I’m only using grow big doing veg and tiger bloom during flower. I see
So I didn’t realize the first time I read the instructions it is measured in liters instead of gallons, so there is about 4 l to a gallon right so if I mix my nutrients by the gallon then I need to times it by 4 correct? Well this morning I used it for the first time, I gave 5 ml of everything and came out to about 800 PPM with my tap water being about two. Just wanted to make sure I am on the right track @Lightbrightt2010
Yep you’re good
@Lightbrightt2010 and that I’m thinking about it that is pretty much a feed on the low side with what I gave huh?
@Lightbrightt2010 I have been trying to play around with the CX horticulture online calculator but I am not too familiar with e.c., I’ve been measuring in ppms since I’ve been growing. So let me ask this, if I’m shooting for 800 ppms then it will show up at 1.6 on an eC scale? I’m just trying to get this figured out, like I said I am used to Fox farm. I have a clone on week two in flower and that is who got the dose of CX horticulture this morning. I’ve been hitting a thousand ppms with my fox farm nutrients and this morning I got about 850 in there. But yeah so my main question about this PPM to EC conversion. F something is 800 ppms it will be 1.6 EC right?
That’s what I’ve understood from others around here.
