You must have a great water source. I miss not having to use PH down. My old spot water source had a PH of 7 and a TDS less that 100. Never used PH down once, always came out 5.9. Now I have to use a little over 3ml per gallon to get down around coco range

Greatly appreciate the initiative you put in on the forum to get people talking and spreading the knowledge. This topic is a nice addition to the light specs and dab press topics you got going. Trich judgement can be pretty intimidating for newer growers. Looking at a sugar leaf by mistake or noticing one half of the plant is a week behind due to its position under the light can only add to the uncertainty a new grower faces when it comes to deciding chop time. F.I.L. just retired friday and im helping him dive into this lifestyle, these threads will be a huge help.

Tap is 180-200 ppm, using RO now. I use tap water to balance pH.

So the first feed of the day has been guzzling nutrients. I think it IS syphoning… installed a dripper above nutrient level to prevent it from happening again. I know it’s common as I have dealt with it a lot I just wasn’t expecting it to because the line is 8-9 feet in the air from the pump.

I’m pretty sure I’ve flushed quite a bit this week. LOL

Tap is 180-200 ppm, using RO now. I use tap water to balance pH.

My tap is a touch higher, but if I’m growing in soil, i don’t have to adjust the pH of mixed Jacks. 6.4-.5 every time. With RO, I use Silica as the pH adjuster. 1ml and Jacks at 4/2 lands at a high 5.7 for me. 4ml hits up close to 6.0ish. I can’t stand adjusting pH lol

I use silica in my mix and that helps greatly with pH then maybe a half gallon to a gallon of tap water. Not sure on eye ball it.

Go grab one of those cheap pop up tents with the sides. Or if you can get the pop up canopy you can always tie plastic to make walls. Then just pop a small heater in there and you’re all set.
