Lately in my late harvest my plants will start to look dried out or crispy looking not sure why ph is 6.8
Any ideas what could cause this to happen
If that is hydroponic the pH should be 5.8
Looks like they could have been harvested a week or two ago.
Thank you i was definitely at the wrong ph and they are a month and 2 weeks almost time
@Spiney_norman is correct, im totally shocked they made it this far that far out of range.
But this is called “locked out” specifically ph lockout in this cause.
Although you have been providing nutrients, the plant cannot take many of them up if ph is to far out.
With hydroponics you should set ph to 5.8, alot of times it may drift up over time and this is fine till it gets to about 6.2, then it needs adjusted back down to 5.8.
That 5.8-6.2 range fluctuation gives it the ability to take up more nutrient.
If you’re lucky enough to get ph to stay at 5.8 thats great, but a little drift up over time is pretty common.
Do whatever you been doing at 5.8 ph and I think you’ll be very pleased with your results in the future
