Hello need help with these leafs that are pretty bad I had humidifier on at 70 but it might have stopped working at somepoint and lowered the humidity to 40. I have the humidity back at around the 70%. Also using Gaia green living soil and worm casting with 444 Gaia green and 284 bloom.
I don’t grow in soil but maybe the leaves was against the soil.
Anyone have any ideas
They got dry from lack of humidity but they are not node or fan leaves so as long as you got humidity under control you should be fine nothing to worry about IMHO.
Just be sure you have your humidifier filled an going.
Okay thanks hopefully I get some good growth soon .
The plant looks thirsty (burnt or dry leaves) and might not have been able to get enough water. Stick your finger in the top 2 inches of soil and see if it’s damp. If it is then it doesn’t need water. However, if it’s dry, then water it.
Don’t worry too much about humidity unless it’s over 70% when flowering, then you run the risk of mold in the flowers. In the wild the humidity fluctuates throughout the day and night, and during the year. In fine dry weather the humidity can drop to 30% or lower. At night it goes up. When it’s cloudy it can go up to 70%+. This happens every day all around the world so it’s not a big issue if the humidity drops to 30-40% and then goes up later on that day or night. Ideally in a perfect world they would have 60% humidity during the vegetative stage and 50% humidity during flowering but the world isn’t perfect and the plants are flexible when it comes to temperature and humidity.
Okay great info you just dropped I got a grow tent now so it should help with a lot of factors of controlling my temps and humidity.
