Also are ypu bringing in cool air from anywhere?
@CC_Mo @Docnraq I have an ac unit in my lung room to bring cold air in, pumped in with 6" ACI adjustable inline fan. 6"ACI exhaust fan venting to the outside.
@TheBadHaggis , nice. Please keep us updated. I’ve had a similar plan like this in my head for awhile. My basement is hvac controlled & I always wondered how much intake/exhaust it would require to keep a room environment this size in check.
And that use of panda film is on point. Way better/faster/easier than drywall/paint. And it looks great & clean.
Well done Grow Bro!
Will do @CC_Mo. I’m thinking of getting an 8" or 10" exhaust fan for this room and putting the 6" back in the 5’x5’ veg tent. Need something that moves 693 CFM minimum. 8" ACI is rated for 800 cfm, 10" is 1200cfm. I’m sure adding the carbon filter knocks those #s way down. The ribs in the ducting probably do too. Need to talk to an HVAC guy
I’ll probably go with the 10" and just not run it lower.
Yes indeed
Turns and curves also bring up your required cfm.
Never want to be pushing the air up so flow direction should always be high to low when pushing and high FROM low when pulling.
DLI looking much better now that I corrected the hours in the app @Docnraq
How is your tenperature? I bet its alot cooler with all that space to mitigate heat from lights.
I’m actually amazed it’s hardly changed. Hovers at about 77-78 degrees
Great setup. Lots of room. You gonna have some happy ladies in thete.
