so I took some of the defoliated trimmings and decided to try and root them in some promix. Just because I have never done it before. I will take more clones later.
Oh yea and one oops where a branch just popped off on me the other day. It’s been on my desk in a cup of water hanging out for 3 or 4 days.
I don’t have an cloner machine but i will probably buy one. There were so many i just didn’t know which to pick. I need one that will fit in the 2x2. anyway.
I took the branches and stuck them in water. they have been in there since the trim earlier and a couple days ago.
I got my cups ready with promix that was pre soaked in ro water(50ppm now as filter is getting old) and recharge. holes and cuts in bottom of cups for drainage. Not soaking wet but holding water. i then sprinkled some extreme mykos in the promix and mixed it up as well. because i have a big ass bag of it.
I cleaned my clippers and shot glass for the clones with rubbing alcohol.
I poured a little cloneX into the shot glass. I then took each cutting, scraped the sides a bit carefully about an inch, dipped them in the cloneX and cut about a 1/4 off the bottom at a 45 degree angle. I then stuck them in the promix and made sure they werent going to fall over.
There is also one auto wedding cake in there. I stuck it in some promix that was presoaked with ro and recharge and it was above ground in two days no presoak. Want to see how fast it roots in the cup under the hlg 65 compared to the slowpokes over here on my other AUTO flower journal.
anyway . i then took and washed and sanitized the dome for the tray and gave it a good mist of ro water, closed the vents and stuck it on.
They are on the 2x2 under the hlg 65. I plan on tomorrow taking the dome off and misting when needed and misting the plants making sure its plenty humid in there. Next day open the vents? I’ve got a bit of reading to do on it but do have some guidelines i’ve read. So we will see how it goes.
