Container size question please…

Container size question: I’m going to start a few compact plants, do I need to use the big cloth container? Can I go to a smaller one?

There’s many plants grow in solo cups so the short answer is yes. I would say what you are planning on feeding will make a difference in how well it will do, just an example organic living soil in a cup wouldn’t make sense

If you purposely want to stunt them and keep them small you might use 1gallon cloth pots.

I’ve grown a few in 1 gallon fabric pots that stayed pretty compact, HST and LST will be needed along with the smaller pots :love_you_gesture:

When you say this what is your target goal? What’s the space you working in?

Like said, these show nice plants can be grown in tiny containers.

@Craig_in_Baton_Rouge 5x5 is a nice sized tent. How many 1 gal plants you packing in there? Should be room enough for a bunch at that container size. If your growing photo you can flip as soon as the mature and really keep’em compact.

Also how tall is your tent?

Height: 6’ 6” well I just procured ten seeds so as many as I can fit…GG4 AF

10 will do well in 1 gallon pots in a 5 x 5 with a good layout. Here’s 6 photo clones , 3 gallon pots in a 3 x 4 kept small (24”) and pulled 1.3 pounds of solid White Widow buds :love_you_gesture:

No matter what size pot you use, they’ll still need to be trained to be kept compact. This one is a 5 footer in a 1 gallon bag
