A bloody shame⌠I donât get much pleasure saying I told some of you so, and that I did see this coming if Trump and the Republicans got control of the White House and the Congress.

The problem is the fact that the FDA thinks that there is no medical use for cannabis. Also the fact that the FDA says that cannabis is highly addictive. It is not compared to heroin or crack, and it shouldnât be on a federal drug list.
You can drink Red Bull until your heart bursts, smoke tobacco until your lungs are coal, drink coffee until you get migraines, drink soda until your teeth fall out, and get cancer all in the same processâŚ
It isnât that the FDA is somehow a separate entity that thinks this all on its own. It is that certain laws prevent the FDA from changing its perspective. And Jeff Sessions and Congress have the control of the federal laws that enforce this perspective.
Also Jeff Sessions has had a history of being prejudiced against anyone ânot whiteâ and makes statements like good people donât smoke weed and only colored welfare losers smoke weed, as well as claiming it is as dangerous or more dangerous than heroin.
Not only that, much like many of Trumpâs others that he appointed in his administration, as well as much of the Republican congress have been passing legislation that personally will profit them greatly. making them very rich, and Jeff Sessions has a interest in locking up as many people as he can in the privatized prisons he holds large investments in.
I doubt he really believes marijuana is all that dangerous, he just wants an easy way to lock up minorities and also to have a legal way to enforce a modern form of slave labor by using the inmates in these prisons without having to pay them a wage.
