All of the canning supplies on our shelves here in NorCal are EMPTY! I’ve already picked about 3 gallons of strawberries! Most go to neighbors but I do freeze some and make jams out of them as well.

The only place in town (Colorado Springs) was Safeway: Big R, no. Tractor Supply, no. Farm Supply, no. Wally World, King Soopers, Ace Hardware didn’t have any either. Ace just got some in last week. But they were $17/case.
Crap I guess I’ll pick some up today. Is no name brand ok or you think I should go strictly with mason/ball?

I would think any would work… but I usually only see Mason and Ball. I’d probably be a little leery of ones from Dollar Tree LOL

I know here in MN the canning stuff was extremely hard to find because of panic buying. I ended up getting 1 gallon ones for harvest time at Menards.

Also you could look up ‘Extract Craft’ recipes and there is a lab devoted to different recipes. It’s not necessary to have a Source Turbo but it helps lol.

Do I need to decarb my wax first?

For a dab pen or vape oil no. If you can winterize the wax it will be better so it doesn’t clog the cart. Wax/rosin is about 65% thc and the rest is waxes, fats, and lipids.

Just so I’m clear, you can decarb your weed, qwet, then reduce to a wax (that requires no decarb since you did it in flower stage), OR you can skip decarb in the flower and just qwet/reduce to wax THEN decarb the wax?
