Come on in to this old hounds lounge, where its always 12/12 these day

It all started about 8 weeks ago, when the moon was at its highest.

And,

Both popped out of the ground. and now i am here ready to flip to 12/12. But first a few pics I’d like to share.
Bruce at 22 days old…

Skywalker at 22 days old…

then some random days…

then a few days ago…

then 2 days ago…

then yesterday…

then today…

And now its time for longer sleeps.

I started 1 Bruce Banner and 1 Skywalker OG Photos, i am flipping them to 12/12 before they get to large. This is my first photo, I’ve always only done auto, and thought i try my hand. I’m using auto pots with coco, for medium. My chose of feed is Jack’s 321 in ro water. temps are 85ish when lights are on. 65-75ish when lights are off. Humidity roughly 50%. 4x4x6.5 foot tent, FECiDA Dimmable LED Grow Light 24000 Lumen 260 Watt x2,
Spider Farmer Glow80 LED Grow Lights, 3.6ft Sunlike Full Spectrum x4, one in each corner vertically. and Spider Farmer SUPP-30 deep red x2.

So is there anything i should know thats different than autoflowers vs photos?

Looking good. Now the show begins. The main difference is gonna be running the lights 12/12 instead of 20/4. Also the stretch will begin on photos once flipped. Yield for me is always higher with photos.

Banner is one i had to watch the humidity with inside. Couldn’t grow it outside in the south.

yeah, love that stretch, plants looking a bit taller and fatter today. The pair only drank 3 gallons of water last night, a little more than the autos.

When you guys flip to 12/12, what hours of the day do you chose to leave the lights on and off? And why did you chose those hours?

Lights on 7am to 7pm works well for my schedule because it gives me time to get in there before or after work if needed.

There is a tower fan back there somewhere.

I run during daylight hours so have time after work to water some people run em at night for lower temperatures main difference between photo and auto is ability to clone photos keep a mom and grow em forever ish I take cutting before I flower anything anymore in case i want to keep it around

I run 6 to 6 pm in winter and vice versa in summer.

Not much room left. The Banner is showing signs of preflower, but the Skywalker is showing no signs.

Looking like a jungle :+1:

You’ll like the results with Jack’s. I’m running the same setup with 3 plants and have around 3 weeks to go. I do modify the schedule for the first 3 weeks at flip. It’s a jplt of P and K so plants can have available right away.

I run my lights to avoid peak hours at the meter.

i keep trying to thin it out and it just wants to grow back thicker, lol.

Hey congrats on the new test pen. My one plant has been a bushy bastard. I’ve thinned it multiple times. Still seems thick

Had to raise my lights again, pretty sure i am at my limit now. They have gone all jungle on me.

the Skywalker is finally showing signs of preflower. The Bruce Banner is forming buttons. what happens when they get to tall. i heard a term lay it over, but how does one lay over a plant growing in auto pots?

my lights are like a foot to the tent top. i didn’t expect that.

thankfully i didn’t see any growth over night. how high can i place the lights in a tent? they are led if that makes any difference and have fans built right into them

I guess I wouldn’t necessarily want anything too hot touching the material of the tent. But I would say use your best judgement and jack em as high as you can. Keep in mind my name is new grower lol.

Hey if you were seriously asking about the term laying over. I think they’re probably talking about super cropping.

i had a nother plant that was getting to tall and some one used the tern “lay it over”. just not sure what they meant by it.

If you look up super cropping I’m positive that’s what they meant. It involves breaking the plant stem just enough to “lay it over”

That kind sound crazy but it is an actual technique. But definitely look it up first

I’m making dinner sorry for the late response.
