Wow, you’re way more into it than I was. 90% of my riding was bareback with a bridle and a blanket, and I don’t care for blankets cus you can’t feel the horse so well and they slip. The drawback is we both ended up very, very wet, but in a good way.
And I fell off. A lot.
My herding dog actually rounds up my other two
Dogs when it time to come in . He does nip at their heels a bit but nothing more than that. Both dogs are twice his size too. He is an aggressive little sucker though. Kinda like a Honey Badger. Lmao!!! You would have to know him. Probably not a good idea with your show stock . Maybe one of those rabbits on a motorized car or something. NOT A REAL RABBIT !!! Anyways sorry got off track.
Honey Badger, yes! You Tube version (animal), and the ex LSU now NFL safety both are worth watching.
One of my close friends has an Arabian that she’s going to give away…
The GSC-X doobie yesterday was awfully good. I think I like the results from the Fox Farms over General Hydroponics.
@highcountrygal, I’ve been busy doing the medic thing and watching how we try to kill each other on the roads. I know about being thrown from big horse critters. I made a promise to myself to never ever ride something with a brain. I was the eldest of all the boys in my family so I was always given the rank, bighty, kicking horse. My father was a Veterinary when I grew up and for some reason we always ended up acquiring a horses. I guess the ranchers traded them for medical services. Who knows, I was really young at the time. We ended up having 6 of those damn things. I learned all about gravity at a young age riding. It broke me of wanting anymore horses. We have the space but not the desire. @mulegal, I’ve had chickens for many years and I’ve tried everything to teach my dogs not to kill chickens, but to no avail. I had one dog that wouldn’t eat them, he would just bring it over and offer it to me. He was a retriever so I figured it was just in his nature. My current Lab has taken out two birds but I think it was due to them being too young at the time and unable escape by flying away. Its been a year now and the coons and hawks are the only things that take out my chickens.
“The GSC-X doobie yesterday was awfully good.” Oh yes @Myfriendis410, glad to hear that. With the attention and care you give your plants, I am sure they reward you well.

Just got a chance to get outside to check on the girls. The greenhouse was warm and moist, and all are still standing upright and growing so fast. As I am checking them something caught my eye but because I didn’t want to open the door to let the heat out I kinda looked at one and I saw white hairs! Is this about right? I think they are at day 41 (planted seed 1/13 germinated 1/17) I will have to wait to take pics because it has decided to sprinkle, any other day it would be a normal dry day. I want to pull them out to sex them but I will have to wait out the rain.
It seems a bit early to me, are they Auto"s or Photo’s. I will be interested in what answers you get, @highcountrygal.
@merlin44 4 of them are from my last years grow, the other 4 are from a grower friend so I will have those to sex for sure. They’ve been in the gh for the past couple of cool days and it’s like the tropics in there. I will if not raining tomorrow pull them out and grab my magnifying glass and camera. I have no parameters to go by so I will have to rely on you smartniks for help Thx in advance
With our daylight hours still under 12, the plant will begin to flower as soon as it’s mature enough to do so.
Its why I always plant non-feminized seeds early. Allows you to kill all the males and spend your full veg season growing only females and clones. I hate wasting time and resources on males.
Just beginning to flower, I don’t believe you’ll have enough time for mature buds before we get over 12 hours of light. I hope you have a plan for that.
I don’t know if they are autos because I just responded to the question without going through the whole topic.
If they are photoperiod plants then you have a great opportunity to monster crop. Do a search here for monster cropping to get the idea of what you need to do if that is what you choose to do.
Thanks for the tag. I’ve been hit and miss getting on here for a long time. I’ve lost all the topics I was watching.
I’ll have to catch up later as I just saw my service may not even be able to upload this response…
@FloridaSon Now I am not positive yet, I need to get in there and pull them out to look closer, I didn’t want to let the heat out, plus I could have melted because it was raining, I hate when that happens! What I have are 4 plants from my '17 grow, which should (better) be girls, the other 4 are seeds from a grower friend in Michigan. I am keeping a close eye on those 4. As soon as I can I will check again. Strains are Purple Dragon, The Exorcist I, II, III. these are the ones to watch. The other 4 are Space Terror I, Chuckies Goo (I had two plants and got a seed from each) I, II and a loose seed from last that I am pretty positive is Space Terror II. Ready? sit down I do not have a clue about a winter grow this is my first! They need to start including instruction manuals
Would if I could, the time is not right …yet.
Imho, asking a dog not to eat a chicken is like me going to KFC and eating a salad. However, if you raise a puppy around chickens, no problem, they will be BFF.
@Ibgone. Well I thought the same thing but my puppy grew up and still got two chicks. I’m thinking my dog was just playing with them a bit too hard. I saw it happen and it wasn’t a vicious attach. The chick weren’t full grown either and couldn’t fly. He doesn’t pay attention to them now since he’s older and they are more mobile. I’m thinking he has a nonaggression pack with them now. Just like the damn you doe that stays in our yard. He starts after her and after about 25 yards my dog stops and says that’s enough, no more running. You’re faster than me. @highcountrygal. Do you have any idea how old your last years plants are, the 2017 ones? If the plants continue to grow and live year round, why do we pull/cut or destroy them and start all over again with clones or seeds? If you’re in a legal state, why not just keep them in a year round grow?
@Flyr No I harvested all in '17. I did take most of the big colas off but left the little buds to mature more. Now my winter grow is different. I am not sure they would live all year. But wouldn’t that be nice!
I have to agree with @FloridaSon I often thought this reading your thread how does a winter grow go outdoors because the light schedule isn’t close to what you want fir veg. I’d say like he said they r probably forming flowers now if it mature enough and the light schedule is right it’s gonna flower but the light schedule is now getting longer so I wonder how this will go it doesn’t seem like it will change rapidly enough to kick them back in veg. Very interesting @highcountrygal
@FreakyDeekie @FloridaSon @timmyv324 @merlin44 @mulegal @garrigan62 @Countryboyjvd1971 @Myfriendis410 and all others
I had to go shopping this morning so I finally got out to the girls, it’s freezin’ keister along with a pretty stiff wind. I have no clue what is going on but here are the pics. My first thought was MALE but then I kept looking and that’s why you guys can look at the pics. This is day 42.
These may not be a good sample the wind was blowing and I was scrunched into the gh. I live in San Diego where almost anything can be grown year round, hence my winter grow. If I harvest a couple of bowls super! If it doesn’t happen, oh well, lesson learned! Okay have at it!

Just looks like new growth to me nothing showing it being a male that I see. It looks good and healthy
