I have been using it for some reason it just keeps staying like a light orange I need to water today what should I do
Keep giving regular water until it comes out clear, sound like you have a toxicity build up
OK no problem I mean it’s in coco
In a pinch and unsure of where your PH is at. Coco Coir is generally between Hydro PH (5.8) and Soil PH (6.5) So; You are shooting for 6-6.2 IMO.
For a watering or 2; If you know you are above 5.5 and below 6.5 you can water your plants. ![]()
I’m confused please explain better
I made a typo originally posting 8-82 ph.
It should have read 6-6.2 PH
So; I am assuming that is what confused. Read it again. I did an edit. ![]()
I checked and it keeps reading orange and not yellow
Orange, Yellow…What is the values of those colors?
Well I use general hydroponics and orange is like 5.0 or 5.5 and then yellow is 6.0
OK then. This indicates that the lighter the color the less acidic it is. Yyou need to do whatever it takes to get that to yellow. Buy some PH up.
I have pH up it isn’t working I can put 6 at the top and the bottom comes out orange it has been like this for the longest now before flowering I have no signs of def I currently have no signs of def I use flora nova bloom I think I might have to pH water to 6.5 until it comes out to 6.0 see if it brings it up
It is not logical that you cannot adjust your PH. What type water are you using?
I am using straight tap water an I use my pH up and down and the tester with the drops I also use flora nova as my bloom
What’s the ppms of your water before and after adding nutes?
It stays around like 600 ppms I have to check I wasn’t checking everyday but I flushed it not so long ago
I watered regular water till the bottom came out clear
I have noticed that if you let your mix of water and nutes sit for a day the ph will settle then adjust before watering. Just a thought.
i add my nutes about 6 hours before my feeding time ![]()
Ah ha, yup that helps.
