Coco coir and nutrients?

Do I need to feed autos more nutrients in coco coir than I do with my ones in compost? All I have is tomorite tomato feed for veg and bio bizz bio bloom for flower, hoping the tomato food will be enough for the ones in coco as tats all I could get my hands on at the moment.

Thanks guys!!

Yes you need to feed in coco.

Okay so you know if tomorite will be okay for it? It has an NPK of 4-3-8

Yes should be okay with that.

The npk ratio is probably fine on that, but doesn’t list other macronutrients or micronutrients. Those will be just as important in coco, especially calcium.

That’s what most use. Soak your coco in calmag solution. Run calmag solution through it. Something like that.

If you don’t the coco will suck the calcium out of your feedings and there won’t be anything available for the plants.

Okay so with the cal mag you need to give a good feed yeah?

So this slight clawing happened this morning, within 10/15 mins of giving them a light feed but I gave her the smallest as she was watered about 6/7 days ago so didn’t really need it, is this normal for clawing to happen right after a feed? It’s only on this plant and only on a few fan leaves, these are the ones in compost

I’ve had a few over the years droop a bit after a feed. Usually after about an hour after lights on they’ll be right back up.
This one may be a bit more sensitive.
