If everyone has a cloner you only need one seed or 2 to be safe i like to trade seeds clone the ones i like if we all could trust one another could trade seeds could have all the seeds we want no waiting
If it was legal everywhere then that would be great. In the real world though, any swapping has to be done discretely and not on this site. No personal info is allowed to be shared here.
Which is a shame, it not being legal everywhere! You guys need to get your poop in a group and come up with federal legislation like we did in Canada!
I’m up near Vancouver, BC and have a bunch of clones I don’t know what to do with, and more sprouting roots in my jars as I type! If anyone needs any, respond and we can talk off-site!
What types do you have rooted/rooting?
Right now? I have some Death Bubba clones and some Dutch Treat clones. 19 in total, only 7 of which are spoken for. Also have 2 autos going right now, a Pennywise and a Medgom CBD plant for my niece. Still have some 9 Pound Hammer seeds, I grew one and cloned it several times, they seem to be stretch monsters, big plants!
@borialis You near Vancouver and looking for some clones?
Which Vancouver? BC or WA not that it actually matters I’m 1/2 between either.
If you’re halfway, you’re state-side. Near @noddykitty1 @DEEPDIVERDAVE and @WaPNWGrower
Yep! Part of " greater Seattle".
That’s great, I will watch your threads closer.
Diverdave is trying to get a seed swap together this month somewhere near mt Vernon. He is up on whidby and pnwgrowr is out near port Townsend.
That aside I would be glad to share some seeds w you. I am just north of seattle in Kenmore. I like making seeds more than buds. I mainly select for outdoor mold resistance. The F1s I am playing w now are a cross between 2006 jilly bean cut I preserved X dj short blueberry I bought from the breeder. I expect great things. These 2 have by far the best mold resistance I have ever seen in 17 years of doing this. I have about 20 lines of seeds I have banked. Durban, Chemdog, strawberry starburst and cough, Durban straw crosses, Flo, and many originals. I like sandlewood terps and berries a lot.
I participate heavily on growingfruit.org same handle. You can PM there for personal info. All you have to do is comment on 2 threads and wait 48 hours before you are allowed to PM there. Same exact forum template as ILGM…
I actually open pollinated the f1 batch to each other. So S1 technically, but I was thinking land race heirlooming honestly. The way wild landraces open pollinate the valley. Anyway, checked them all ready for viability. Popping up pretty.
Ah! Yes, port Townsend is the part of “greater Seattle” I’m closest to ( Kitsap).
@borialis
Hahahaha I grew up in kidnap county, “go on vacation leave on probation” as my dad would say.
I grew up in Olalla
Outside Keremeos?
Edit: North of the border or south?
@Spudgunner
No friend. Down across the bay from Seattle.
Figured, Olalla on our side is 1 or 2 streets off the main highway, unincorporated. Used to be good area for mule deer. And that’s it!
@Spudgunner
HAH About how the one I grew up in is, 2 small mini marts a feed store and post office.
Have not been there in a long time but the population has grown a lot.
I dont need any but i used my extra clones to experiment with as a great learning experience. I still do dometimes if i want to test a theory
Yeah it’s nice and quiet too many people is grating. I like the little bend in the road towns.
Whidbey Island, home, for now.
@WaPNWGrower is over that way.
Yup!, If we dont make a May exchange, July comes up next.
Port Townsend is nowhere part of Seattle
