use honey it has correct acids in it and is antiseptic so will reduce plant getting infections or bacterial issues

Well I have tried cloning twice already and got roots but the first one rotted after surviving 12 days and my next lot died after 2 weeks, so no go on the durban poison

I really really want to get this cloning down pat, so 3rd time round, 2 clones from my gold leaf, hopefully I’ve learnt something with each failure

My first time cloning seemed to workout fine…I cut and dipped into MG fast root and planted into Espoma with Mycos and put them in the grow tent with 16/8 lighting and now at a month old are doing great outside in 5 gal planters and transplanted into FFOF…

I had great luck went 100% on my clone after a rough start they are really doing well. Heat mat humidity dome and light, used rapid rooters and clonex.

I use honey instead of rooting gel or powder. Then place in Rapid Rooter plugs in a humidity dome with 1/4" water in the bottom. I place under 6500k lighting on an 18/6 schedule and keep humidity at 80-90%. I do not do any additional misting since the humidity is already so high. Every one of my clones has rooted doing it this way.

Hi, so I’ve never cloned before and I’m running into some issues. The ends are turning to mush within days of cutting. I’m trying to clone Chronic Widow and Girl Scout cookie. The mothers are very healthy and turning into some beasts. I’m using an Aeroponic Cloning machine (The EZ clone I believe), dipping the clones into CloneX rooting Gel and using Power clone in the water. Temp is around 25C, and PH is anywhere from 6 - 6.2. This is what a grower recommended that I do, and he’s rarely lost clones doing this. What could I be doing wrong here?

Also somewhere in my reading I read that if you dip the fresh cuts in seltzer water it can help in the rooting process, is this true? (Haven’t tried it yet)

try reducing temp to around 70f 20-21c at that warm a temp bacteria would be in nutrient solution very fast rotting your stems basically cooking them
