Sf nematodes arrived yesterday so time to do another application this morning , soil mites will be here today if on time lol so probably tomorrow…
Yesterday i took all the snow from the driveway and put it around the bottom of the grow room to help prevent odor issues as much as possible , hopefully it sticks around
Theres a few phenos here and there that look like they will finish in the 9th week , mostly the poledancer #1 and screaming eagle x pd and one black garlic x poledancer but the rest of the room seems to have taken vastly to the poledancer side for length of flower cycle. Not exactly my plan to run to theb12th week but i feel like that going to be the case for some of them
I was just gonna ask who’s fastest til I read that, it looked to me like the WF x PD is ahead but I don’t know their birth dates like you do. Seems not long ago I didn’t look again but they ain’t that old eh
We soaked seeds in the begof October but made the mistake of trying to start them in peat moss in dixy cups , they stayed water logged and didn’t get to better soil untill the beginning of November i believe. Planted in beds mid November and flipped right around Christmas (will be 7 weeks in on Tuesday) Definitely not my fastest run with the slow start.
The beds took a bit to figure out , bluemat kept runni g away on me and soil was over watered often , i have been hand watering for the last month so i can practice crop steering techniques via irrigation timing
So its hard to say for sure how long the flowering time sjould have been under ideal conditions but the one wedding flake x pd in the pot looks like it will finish in the 8-9th week and the black garlic x pd will finish in the 9-11th weeks. So probably only added a week or two depending on pheno but poledancer #2 and most of the black garlic x pd are looking like marathon runners as we close in on the start of week 8. Also the pd2 structure screams sativa characteristics whereas the moms showed more hybrid traits. Somewhere along the path a whole lotta diesel became dominant with that pheno and possibly lost some of the black lime reserve characteristics but its still early and i expect a lot of change as they develop over the next month , as always time will tell the story.
I also wanted to mention that a couple of the screaming eagle x poledancer are throwing terps that are exactly like pinebomb from dominion. Likely due to a terpy run but ill say im enjoying the complexity and depth of these better than any pheno i got form pb , this is something i can dig no cherry or grapefruit/burnt citrus to speak of tho the mom on this pheno was more a fresh concentrated florida oj pheno. I say concentrated just because it was louder than straight oj.
After applying sf nematodes just before lights out its time to spray the soil surface to keep the nematodes alive and allowing them to set in or anchor to material in the rhizosphere so they dont get washed deep into the medium where they cant find their victims lol cant exactly call them prey as they have to get eaten by the host to kill.
Soil mites are ready to pick up today , ill have to apply them in the dark via one of those led tea lights , all high tech up in here ![]()
This crop from start to the finish is basically a story of use what you got if it works lol , not much was exactly what i would liked to have used but with some creativity we will make it to a quality finish. Probably a bit late and a bit light on weight but quality is everything
I am pleased with grub grenade i ordered up a very large bag of soil mites only to find all adults had died along route and put in a complaint , quickly (less than 2 hrs later) they had reshipped the package no questions asked. So definitely a legit business just be sure to check your spam folder for the response.
Wow just wow , woke up to some nasty nasty harh stuff released from the what was it called again , the truman files no i dont think thats spelt right. Time to light the torches if you dont agree after reading any section of these files get outta here your not respected by the masses. Ffs really , holly f~€& im so disturbed right now that stuffs worse than a banned horror movie. I dont even care if i get suspended here but it would take a mega truman zombie to look the other way i suppose.
The poledancer #2 is really going through sime terp development , suddenly im getting lots of gnarly chem notes ![]()
Shortly after working on the poledancer #2 i was pleasantly surprised to find two wedding flake x pd that are throwing some impressive fermented kiwi with clementine or mandarin terps. Very lively and unbelievably loud , 2/7 are this pheno definitely worth digging further.
Over the past 5 years since we got sober ther have been so many realizations and reality checks ,mostly for the better i think.
I believe it is more than easy to be misunderstood and taken the wrong way , to be honest im probably easily confused and in the past was quick to make judgment or stereotype.
After hearing similar advice from those that know me best im thinking its possible i need to get outta my box here and get out to visit some others threads to show support. Honestly i wasn’t sure if i was welcomed or appreciated to be around, we will see here shortly i suppose. Not that i have a whole lotta time to post a link to everything i have read but a simplified take on organic growing is something i can help others understand its not that difficult once you got the hang of it , dont forget the weekly inputs and only adjust inputs to address deficiencies in between regular feeds.all too often people are chasing deficiencies that dont even exist but instead are actually environmental issues or watering issues.
Sime pics of last day week 7 , the screaming eagle x pd and wedding flake x pd are definitely popcorny im assuming due to beig over crowded but i can see the pots definitely produced much more weight so im definitely gonna need to do soil tests on both beds separately at the end of the crop so i can steer things in the right direction by either amending or leaving certain imputs out for a period of time untill levels come down to target.
