Hello everyone, join me on this journey with Chocolate Mimosa and Bubbas Mac and Cheese.
I planted 5 of each in my 4x4 tent. They are in Happy Frog soil mixed with Perlite.
They are under 2 MarsHydro Tsl2000.

Day 3 after planting. They have all sprouted and are doing well. I misted them all and misted the dome.

What do you guys think about this.
I plant my phenos in 5 gallon fabric pots. Every time I cut them down I dump the dirt out so I can reuse the pot. I always notice that the roots are not root bound and it’s not like the roots are all through the pot. So with that being said.
I’d like to start planting them in 3 gallon fabric pots.
The Pros:
- I can fit more in my 4x4 and the 2x4.
- I won’t have to worry about them growing too big.
What do you guys think since the rootball doesn’t span the whole 5 gallon pot? What’s to lose?

Look around in threads discussing what pot size is needed, probably won’t take you long to find me suggesting 3 gallon pot is large enough for most indoor grows.

Day 8 after planting. I put them inside of cups because I don’t want the roots exposed to light.
They’re looking good!

The Chocolate Mimosas and Bubba’s Mac N Cheese are coming along great.
I just planted 5 OG LA Kush seeds to go along with them.

Had to transplant today, the girls looked unhealthy like they were getting root bound so I transplanted them to their 3 gallon fabric pot homes.
I’m also trying to get better with each grow. I bought a way better ph pen, air stones and air pump to RO my water, and trellis nets.

What kind of ventilation system do you got going on ?

I’m going to get an auto pot system for the next grow.
