What does this look like to yall? First time using these nutrients. Never had this happen before. Soil ph 6.2
What nutrients are you using? Your Ph for soil should be 6.5 going in.
Post an overall pic Growmie and agree with @Deepsix on the PH. You’re at the very bottom of the range and most mobile nutrients are best absorbed with a higher PH

i need to take pics with the led light off. I noticed those two plants was very light on top. I noticed i had a cal mag defiency and fed last week. I never knew fox farm had cal mag in the nutes, i woundered why i hardly never had to use it. Im not sure if its light bleaching or a defiency. This was my flowering light and i vegged them for a few weeks in there. Should i regular water at 6.5 too? Im using the rock nutrients. But for some reason they take 5 to 7 days to dry. Fox farm they was super dry after 2 days. Weirdest shit ever, this is my 4th grow. Ill take better pictures when i get home.
What’s the run off PH and PPMS, this will let you know how much nutrients are in the medium and how much to feed. I try and maintain 1000 PPMs and for soil a PH of 6.5 is the sweet spot. The light green leads me to believe their hungry but it’s a crap shoot without knowing how much to feed or the PH without the run off numbers
Ive been feeding them half strength, and i thought the same thing, but my older leaves below are the right color green. And i upped my nutrients and i got slight nutrient burn so they can’t be hungery. But i got blue lab soil ph meter, it said soil ph was 6.2 but ill check the run off. I was feeding with all the fox farm additives, kelp me kelp you and all of that at half stength up till this week. I figured it was a nute defiency or some sort. Or light bleaching. I got a photobio phantom 680 watt.
I figured if it was light bleaching though my darker plant would be lighter up top though.
6.2 PH is at the very bottom of the range for soil. FF pushes a lot of nutrients that are not needed in my opinion. I learned the hard way about adding all kinds of ingredients to the recipe when all they need is a base nutrient with all the mobile and immobile nutrients, microbes and maybe some additional calmag or epson salt. With your light are you using a meter to set the DLI/PPFD
I used a lux meter. I need to get a ppfd meter. The lux i used on my mars hydro was the same as i used on this one. I know next time I’m going to cut it back till week 3. What nutrients you recommend using for soil?
I switched to jacks 321 over a year ago, simple and clean. Personally I think as long as you feed or water to run off and don’t over feed or water too frequently the root zone stays healthy. What’s your water source like as far as PH and TDS? PHOTONE is a smart phone app that is pretty accurate for setting DLI/PPFD
Like @OGIncognito said. When I used FF Trio I found it to be light in Cal-Mag.
Heres some better pics. And thanks everyeveryone for everybodys help. And with jacks how do you use it? Like whats your feeding schedule like? Is it stuff you sprinkle on top of the soil?
Rechecked soil ph, it was 5.8 now. Think i was slowly going into a lockout.
Jacks comes in a dry form and dissolved in water. Critical to mix in order of part A completely dissolved followed by epson dissolved then part B completely dissolved. The ratio is 3.6/1.4-1.6/2.4. I use my tap water with a very low TDS and jacks 321 comes out at approximately 1000 PPMS and a 5.9-6.0 PH. Excellent nutrient line
That’s low, soil PH range is 6.2-6.8. That 5.8 could be preventing nutrient absorption in the root zone. I would go in on the next feed or water at 6.8 and check your run off
