"CHAT" White Truffle Indoor Grow Off

This topic is to be used as communication point for our Indoor White Truffle grow. Please post all comments and questions relating to this grow here.

Please keep comments in this thread related to the grow mentioned above. We will not be moving posts in or out, so anything unrelated will be deleted. If we find ourselves repetitively deleting posts from the same person I would expect a friendly note in your inbox, further requests will probably not be as friendly. There’s plenty of other places for you all to catch up on your vacations, side hussles, or whatever else you’re doing.

I encourage everyone to bookmark the threads they’re interested in for ease of finding as Olaf went a bit wild running 3 different strains. And extra thanks to all of our participants!

In an effort to minimize overlap with the previous community grow off (Northern Lights) I will delay dropping seeds until late in the week. Let’s plan on dropping seeds on Friday May 23.

The Northern Lights are still a week or two from chop.

I’m going to be 2 weeks late too due to vacation.

That just means that our plants will veg for a week or two less than the others.

Not necessarily…
I still haven’t received mine. And I have something special in mind for the torture I’ll do to them so I might need a bit longer veg time… :smiling_face_with_horns:

Good morning, dripped mine on 5/18, due to have need to flip as soon as possible to July 1st. Get then established and set for the wife to handle while I’m gone to Alaska for 19 days. Since I’m doing scrog, I need to get that stretch under control before I leave.

I am fretting a June 5 trip for 5 days. I need to get my babies able to drink from the bottom of the half gallon container before then. I think they will be ok, plant sitter is iffy to check in on them. I soaked them about 18 hours pre deadline worried about getting them big enough, full disclosure in interest of success for the grow. When I get back will move them to 3 or 5 gallon autopot containers.

After deciding to wait until Friday to drop seeds I changed my mind. I dropped three ILGM White Truffle Feminized seeds this morning. I only have room for the three because I have had some landrace seeds that I wanted to grow back in January.

10 gallon fabric pots
SCROG
Roots Organic Original Soil
Roots Organic Dry Nutrients, plus Epsom Salts

8X8 Grow Room, Plants in 6X8 area
~2200 watts LED, mix of COB’s and Pucks
Photo-Red and Far-Red LED’s
UV LED’s

These Photos are from my archives, the overall layout and system has not changed.

Not sure how convenient it would be, but I think most would recommend blowing off those pin sinks if you have the ability.

I would but that would involve a complete redesign of the mounting system. The heatsinks act as a mounting point for the COBs and the Pucks, plus the heatsinks attach to the rails.
