CHAT THREAD for Bring in the Sound Grow

Size of the room isn’t the issue…It’s the legality of it. MN has a 4plant veg 4plant flower max unless you have a license which I do not.

That’s precisely why I don’t grow canna.
I do collect seeds as souvenirs, however, and for historical archive purposes.
Occasionally, because of our high humidity, some of our best souvenirs will sprout. :man_facepalming:
I try to monitor them. Every 75 to 120 days I’ll poke my head into the souvenir room, clear out the miscreants, and burn them to stay within state and local laws.

If it were up to me I’d have an entire greenhouse full, but I promised my wife I would stay completely above board with my garden. I don’t like to break my word to anyone once I give it.

Nossir, I completely understand.
Oddly enough, we lived in Oregon when 4 recreational plants became legal, and it actually reduced our garden size (I don’t sell, btw, just love the medicinal side of it mostly).
As for honoring your word, and honoring the wishes of your Missus, I not only respect that, it’s what we’re called to do.
There’s far too little of that in today’s world. Hat’s off to you, hope to grow with you some day. :cowboy_hat_face:

I linked to the type and frequency of forks needed. Also, a couple of posts down, I shared a video of the technique. It’s pretty easy really.

I’ll get with Joe about getting this going for a winter grow. I’ll join in as well.

It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve heard that, I still crack up!

I’ll probably let someone else who wants to participate have my spot on the next one, I’m about to do another seed run after these finish up. Appreciate the opportunity though! :folded_hands::oncoming_fist:

I hate to be a pain in the tuckas, @AfgVet , but could you link to that link about the forks? :folded_hands:
I’m old, and fall down a lot.

You rock, @SqbodyMama !
I’ll have to buy a few forks for this grow.
Low frequency (89 and 144) and higher frequency (432 and 440).
:man_facepalming:
Definitely taking the Missus out to lunch this weekend.
I’m hoping we can do autos, but even if photo I’m putting some ILGM Blue Cheese auto in the soil soon.
I’ll take a lower yield, I’m just dying to grow a couple out.
(Sorry, Ms Red, we’re already up to 6 plants minimum… but it’s for science).

Sorry about. Completely spaced the link but @SqbodyMama gotcha covered

The two frequencies of forks I listed is what the plants have shown to thrive on best. And of those two, I’ve only used one and had incredible results.

@AfgVet , I won’t ask for your favorite frequency (don’t want to be swayed). :hugs:
I’ll try the 4 above, and love how it will isolate each plant.
The first guitar I ever bought (back in the late 70’s) I actually tuned with a fork.
Now I do it through a pedal…
My God how the years have flown! :man_facepalming:

I’ve been following along and love this grow. The science behind frequency responses to living things and plants is pretty wild, watching this grow got me looking into it, so thanks. My question is would a recording of a tuned fork work or does the fork have to be near the plant? Maybe the waves are different live vs recorded? I was just curious. I may get one for my current grow :+1:.

My understanding, @patrick1960 , is that the forks will be placed on the main stem or the soil for 2 to 4 minutes a day, 2 to 3 times a day.
Like you, I’m learning as I go along. :cowboy_hat_face:

Of course, I’ve been known to be wrong.

I’m not going to date myself but I’ll just say I’m aware of the process

That’s a good question. I could ask the women who taught me what she thinks and maybe it’s something we throw into the mix on the next experiment.

Y’all had a pitch pipe too?
Ma’am, the older the violin, the sweeter the music.

I would say, having played tones on my speaker through my phone, that the Hz does not translate accurately @patrick1960.
Digital is cool, but at the end of the day it’s a computer guussinng at pure Hz.
Unless it’s filtered through an oscilloscope, I’d go with a quality fork..
