That is quite a bit to be tossing. I need to test it sometime with some scoped before and after bud pics. I was researching them a lot and seems to be fairly gentle on the buds despite how it looks in the bowl going around.

You might also consider examining the blade for sharpness. I wet trimmed 12 plants on my first harvest with one. When I fired it up on harvest #2 it was shredding, ripping, not cutting so I bought 5 replacement blades. BIG difference. I find it a bummer to have equipment issues mid harvest and I don’t look at my bowl trimmer between uses.

There may be and likely are newer versions that are more gentler than the original I have.

Oh I need to check my blades. Duh, so obvious but didn’t think about it.

I use the wet trim blade on the dry buds. I know there is a wire one for mine that you use for dry but never tried it.

I used it on 1/4 of a plant and said “nope”. But this was one of the first popularized trim bowls that came out several years ago

It actually went super easy I set it on an old piece of plexiglass laid it on its side and cut the bag and pealed it off as I rolled it. Then I stood it up and put it in the hole. EZPZ.
If you substitute the word it for her, this post would have a whole different meaning.

Plum, what are you doing? Making this a perennial? There are movies made about this type of stuff. Pet cemetery comes to mind.

How long do I need to degas jars that are at the right rH? Continue like a normal burp schedule? They still have a grassy smell after drying 16 days so hoping that goes away after a while. Since they are at point on rH how do I add back in after “burping” if it drops below 58% without boveda or fruit slices? Paper towel? I used grove bags last grow so never messed with jars yet. Maybe I should just use the bags.

Thank you @peachfuzz I love growing outside. The Northern lights grow off was/is my first ever indoor grow. That was my first ever harvest of an indoor plant. I harvested it a little earlier than I would have normally, to give it a little more time to reveg, before transitioning back into flower. I hope it works.

Why go backwards? Stick with the bags.

I dunno. Just been wanting to try new things. Also had some issue with keeping up with humidity in them always had to use a boveda. I needed some more of those and saw boveda has their own version 1 lb bags with the 5 pack of size 60’s I needed so going to try them and the jars.

Yeah the jars are old school. Burping 25 jars a couple times a day sucks. The bags are easy mode as long as you bag them at the right time. And that’s easy mode too if you have a moisture meter.

We’ll after about 5 or 6 hours of family trim time we ended up with 224 grams. I still have a few more branches to work through and a whole other half a plant that will be ready to chop in a week or so.

I think this one will go down as a success
