That doesn’t exchange air for co2 replacement though. In which is the justification for running exhaust in first place. Plants won’t grow without the co2, they will grow with weak stems and mold. Not that we want any of the above.
Is co2 lighter than air? Does it rise to the top of tent or does it sit on the bottom of the tent???
Co2 is heavier then oxygen and falls to the bottom of the space…
Ok, now it makes sence. The missing info. Thanks
I don’t see what is so hard to get, you need airflow through the tent from bottom to top so the exhaust must be at the top hence the carbon filter goes at the top.
Same here. Top of tent thru the duct, to sit on roof of tent, supported by a couple of strips of ply. Have more room in tent. The smell is eradicated just fine when on and starting to stink in the shed when it aint. No dramas
OP here. I’ve decided to keep the filter and fan at top. I need to filter the smell mainly but I do want fresh air in the tent air in at bottom and out at top. Thanks for all the info.
Temps are near on perfect here too as RH. I do have both side vents open on my tent all the time. Didnt mention that before sorry. Heres my chance to have a lil brag, Have QB V2 132s for lighting. Stoked to have them on board. They make temps easier to manage now. Did have an arrangement of 8 fluoro tubes for my 1st year. Just a novice at this house yet
It will, but it doesn’t necessarily stay there when there is air transition.
Yes … air movement is critical when supplying co2…
I run a couple of propane co2 generator’s…
99.9999% effesint and almost 95% nontoxic … not like your typical co2 generators …
It also adds more lumens…
Will be sharing more on the build out thread…
My room can be sealed with a flick of the wrist or outside air movement… at the flick of the wrist … will be sharing…
A little late but …I have a 6" x15 scrubber sideways at the top in the back, my tent is 60" tall so yes it’s in the way in the middle. but it took me 3 times to get it so it gives back that space but it is out of the way enough to utilize the middle again and seems to be working ok, there just getting pretty stinky and I can’t have that.
What’s your humidity running at right now…
The more humidity during flower , the more they will stink and also has a tendency to clog up your charcoal filter and will also cause mold and mildew and possibly fungus…
Try to keep humidity in between 25% and 45% humidity during flower… no more then 45% if possible… that includes during lights out… because humidity rises during the dark hours and they also throw off more scent …
One good thing is the Humidity is always below 50, usually around 35 or so, 2 intake fans and a 4" round fan on the screen and a 4" inline intake in the back also have the 4" carbon filter to add if it smells to bad but that one will just sit on the floor in the back…LOL I’ll put a pic up tomorrow been messing with the lights for pictures soooo, giving them a rest.
