I never have been able to get the push tabs to work. But if your wire is free on the other end then twist the wire counter clock wise while gentle pulling out. Works like a charm for me. Don’t know what I’ll do when both ends are connected.

Sorry about the late reply, but yes you can just depress the metal there in same spot. The only reason the plastic is there is to act as insulator. After you’re done you can put a little piece of electrical tape over it.

Did u end up getting it bud. I had super bad issued trying also to depress the tab to remove the wire i got to the point i said screw it and went about it all the hard way and disconnected the wires from driver and attached that way. Lol. They made it super easy to remove the wires on these boards lol. Hell my wagos didnt even work to grab the wires right i had to crimp and electrical tape my stuff

I haven’t tried to mess with it again yet figured I would get it this weekend too busy during the week with work and allit seems like it’d be too easy for hlg to do a little quality control make sure the correct drivers and s*** are in the boxes how hard could that be

That’s two orders in a row of mine they jacked up first one I ordered to uvas they only sent me one got back to them and they said oh are bad and we’ll send the other one it won’t quality control make sure there’s two lights when somebody orders too late then this time I ordered the kit and it’s advertised everywhere new inventronics drivers the instructions show in ventronic drivers but they ship out the old meanwhile quality control goes a long way same thing with this 260 XL kit all we had a problem in manufacturing okay there’s no manufacturing to it it’s a kit you throw parts in a box and ship it out pay attention to what you put in the box

All wagos are not created equal. Most of them are crap.

I know. I was replying to mark saying his wagos wouldn’t even grab. I’ve never had issues with molex, I have friends who have bought wagos online that look the same as mine but do not at all function the same. When mine are new it takes some force to open them. The cheap ones just open… and that’s why they don’t hold.

I originally purchased a 75 piece kit from Amazon, and since have purchased 2 and 3 port by 100 each. I have yet to use them all, but I have came across a single one that didn’t work. Worst I have had was a few levers that required a little more effort to open. All done by hand though.

I used them at a friend’s when I installed fixtures in his new garage. When I went back to finish the next weekend he had ordered some. So I was gonna save mine and use his. Untill I realized his didn’t hold nafa.
