Caterpillars in flowers of outdoor plants

I have three Pineapple Express plants Ive been growing in my backyard in 5 gallon buckets. Few weeks ago I bought insect netting to keep pests away. The last few days I took the netting off the plants and yesterday I was closely looking at the buds and noticed I have a caterpillar issue. Found one caterpillar nestled deep inside a lot of buds. Help please. Been using neem oil but I don’t want to saturate the buds with neem oil

Cant see the pics. Have to wait until says 100% then post

Stop using neem. Get this, mix at 1.5x recommended strength, spray in evening or right at night so it doesn’t evaporate. Safe up until harvest and rinses away with a thorough bud wash…

In the first plant I found 5 caterpillars nestled deep inside 5 different buds. On the 2nd plant, same deal. Third plant only had 1 caterpillar inside of a bud

Remove all, brown rotted areas. Neem oil is absorbed into the flowers and doesn’t wash away. It can result in a harsh smoke after dry and cure.

Double check this… but I thought you could use BT up til harvest. It ‘should’ kill the worms.

I lost a lot to those evil worms, finally found my BT… now going to pretreat my photo before they become an issue. Damn worms!

If I am mistaken, please correct me!
